According to the Twitter user CapFrameX who does some fairly good hardware info, Leaks etc... Nvidia are going to release a driver that specifically focuses on improving the AI performance of their cards i.e DLSS, DLAA, Frame Generation and anything that uses the Tensor cores for AI operations.

7900 XTX RMA stock is inbound to Europe, @Wyp you should make a news article as I'm sure it will cheer some people up :)

So I ordered my 7900 XTX on launch day in December and got it a few days later.
Unfortunately it had the high hot spot temp defect.

I contacted AMD Support via the telephone and they told me I could RMA or get a refund.
I chose the RMA and they said they would get back to me when they have news on known working cards coming into stock.

This week they called me and said working cards were in stock and they were sending me a new card, I received this new card today.

They also provided me with DHL return for sending the faulty card back to them, the DHL return is really simple, you click on the link in the PDF and they come and collect it from your home or office.
Mine is getting picked on Monday.

So I'm now testing the new card, and it works without issue, delta between core and hotspot is around 13 kelvin (72c core and a stable 85c hotspot).

Overall customer support was great and the RMA / SUPPORT is 100% AMD staff, nothing to do with digital river.

So yes, AMD messed up with this release (and we did a lot of shouting on reddit / twitter / facebook)but in my case, they put it right at the earliest opportunity they had.
So I give them 10/10 for the AMD European support on this issue and hope everybody else who has the vapor chamber issue with their card gets the same RMA experience as me.
