Quick News

I'm just incredibly sceptical of them - their corporate culture seems rotten to the core. And cockroaches tend to survive.

Turns out the rumoured 20GB version of the 3080 Ti may be real... but it comes at a performance cost, Smaller memory bus, 320 bit vs the 12GB's 384 bit, And much lower bandwidth, 760GB/s vs the 12GB's 912GB/s which makes this a very odd entry as the 3080 Ti is really a card meant for 1440P and greater.

High res benefits greatly from high bandwidth, Lowering bandwidth and bus width just to say "look our card has an extra 8GB" is a very odd decision, By the time that greater than 12GB is required this card will be EOL by a fair few generations.

This reminds me of those 6GB 780's a few years ago, Completely pointless.

Some of us are old enough to remember them days, it's a sad thing but we'll all get there one day.
While I was born way after Sinclair's heyday; I have studied into the 8-Bit era and what effect Sinclair had so I do appreciate the enormous contribution he made in getting computing to the masses. Shame that despite his achievements and long lasting legacy, he will be forgotten about; while Jobs was lionised as a saint.

While I really dislike Apple, Jobs did have talent, but wozniak has more brains in his left butt cheek than most people, but back in the spectrum days there were some of the biggest talents in their bedrooms tinkering away on games and they made it big and are still around, So they owe him some respect for me it's some of my earliest games i played thou i did have an Atari and vic 20 dispite the load times it's a sound you do not forget some happy memories around that small machine :)

First machine I ever had was a Sinclair spectrum 128k :)
Was addicted to all the Dizzy games, and the adventure games where you had to type commands like "look" "get" "examine" "head north" etc. :D

I think that's kinda cool the devs came up with it and then went to Nvidia and then Nvidia made it a thing. That's one of the reasons Nvidia is so dominant. Their software is next level especially compared to AMD.

I think DLAA will be pretty cool for single player games where fps isn't as important.

Indeed, You can kind of already "trick" a game into running a crude version of DLAA, Run DSR at a higher res and then enable DLSS, Works nicely, Will just be easier with a quick toggle ingame :)

This is pretty cool, Signal RGB, A WIP app that lets you control all the RGB items you own through 1 easy to use interface instead of having to use multiple applications, If your device isn't supported it you can submit a request as they are adding more devices every week.

It's free but there is also a "pro" version which helps support the devs with a few extra features, IMHO this application is sorely needed, Way too many RGB applications.

Tried that just now, half of my devices aren't supported and it frequently just crashes outright or gets stuck on not responding, i might try later on when more hardware is supported.
