Quick News

Another one? For goodness sake.

As it's a direct sequel to FC5 they wouldn't have had to build the world from the ground up and according to the devs that was the biggest time sink, Roughly just over 2 years JUST for the world, Voice actors, Story, Missions, Items, Weapons etc... take relatively short amounts of time compared to world building.

That makes sense. I'm just being overly negative. :p

Seems nothing is going good for Bethesda, they leaked a load of peoples personal info in support tickets on other peoples accounts

For me Far Cry games stopped mattering after the Trigens (or whatever they were called) at the end of the first game. Bloody stupid was the ending of that game.

They only mattered again when FC5 came out with co op. It really is an absolutely fantastic experience with a friend. Especially when you reach "Teste festie" and you're both laughing so hard you can't play it.

More of the same please. That would make me happy for the next couple of years at least :)

At least UBI don't seem to have the same issues as Bethesda where it takes them two years to make an empty game with 5 year old graphics.

Yeah I saw that. I actually don't think it will be a worthwhile upgrade for us though Dice, coming from an AE-5 unless you can of course get almost full price reselling.

True, The Creative guy said there's a clear difference between the AE-5 and AE-9 but he would say that, I'll wait on independent reviews ^_^

The only thing that will make me upgrade over my AE-5 is if they reduce the latency delay for line in. Currently my guitar has about 20ms delay from plucking a string, to the processing and output audio. So when it comes to playing fast, 20ms is alot to throw you out of sync and distract you.

Onboard audio is much less than that so its almost not noticed. Audio quality is limited to my speakers so I don't see AE 9 bringing a vast improvement. Playing a guitar through headphones is a waste as the sound is meant to be heard in a large environment :)

Fix the latency and I am sold! :)

I'll probably end up buying it and doing a direct comparison to the AE-5, If there is a difference but it's only small then I'll get a refund, If the difference is pretty noticeable then I'll keep it and put the AE-5 in my HTPC :)

pfft you end up buying everything.

Yeah, saw that. Pretty stupid if you ask me.

Im not going to participate but would be fine for me. My rent includes my elec so essentially it'd be my landlord that buys me new games and hardware ;)
But I do agree that if you have to pay your own bills or someone you care about does this is a really bad idea

Anyone see this?

Razer introducing a new reward program that has you mining cryptocurrency for them, while rewarding you peanuts.

source

Total scam IMO, If you wanted to save up your silver points that you earn through this program, You'd have to keep it on for 550 days to get one of their top end keyboards, the real kicker is all points are wiped every 365 days so Razer are getting money for nothing and you're paying for it.
