Questions about upgrading graphics card

Hello,

I have a Core 2 Duo E6300 CPU running at 1.86 GHz.

I am planning on buying a 22" with a native resolution of 1680 X 1050.

I was wondering which graphics card i should buy, and wether i would get bottle-neck or not.

which graphics card do you recommend, from nvidia, around 100$+? would i get bottle neck?

and would it be compatible with my mother board? (Gigabyte GA-945P-S3)

your motherboard will support the latest graphics cards and you should probally go with a GTS 250 from newegg http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814127422

that GTS 250 is standing perfectly at 100$

be sure you have the latest bios F7c. take advantage of the MB Intelligent Tweaker(M.I.T.) in the bios also you have the Robust Graphics Booster wich can add some more pep to your gpu. you should also beaware of your temps and voltages at all times so use

CPU Warning Temperature settings in your bios. cpuid has a great hardware monitor thats free.
