Hey planning on starting my first gaming build, would be grateful if i could get some feedback on these components and how well they would work together:

Intel core i5 2500k 3.3Ghz - £163.71

G skill ripjaws 4GB (2x2GB) - £32.38

Asus P8P67-M R3.0 - £96.15

Seagate 1Tb SATA-III 6GB 32MB cache - £38.92

Asus GTX 560 Ti - £180.88

Antec 300 case - £49.66

Corsair TX 750w - £87.15

Total cose - £842.92

Sole purpose of this build was to play high demand games (witcher 2, crysis etc.) on high-ultra with good FPS.

Not sure about the PSU, another forum said I would need the 750w for the 560Ti, but that seems a bit overkill. Also any advice you could give to lower the cost but have the same power would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks

Rather than a massive list of links can you please just tell us what it is dude. No one will click through all of them.

All looks fine, the case is cheap tat though Id look at other options there.

Also dont forget youll need a cpu cooler.

, wiil the stock fan not be enough?

I'd advise a stock fan, £15 el-cheapo case and a cheaper psu, to try and massage your way to £250 for a gpu. i.e. EVGA GTX570 from Aria.

No good your case looking the dogs nads and skimp on the graphics. This is a gaming preference after all. The 560ti won't play Witcher 2 full out. The 570 won't either, but it'll be closer.

Nothing wrong with the psu you've chosen, but I'd just emphasise on other things.

If you want to be adventurous in the future with a case that sports flashing leds and an aftermarket cooler, the option is there.
