Project Woodbox

Today I got some little metal corners from the shops for step 1 in reinforcing the sidepanels.

These are a little offset (not screwed in all the way), as you can see this is because the original underside of the steel case is not completely flat so instead of straightening out the sidepanel, pulling this tight would actually bend it.

Step 2 and the front panel soon, but tomorrow (and probably Thursday) I'll be working on another guitar project. This one is my mate's though so not sure if I can update you lot with pictures of that. I'll definitely have photos of Woodbox though!

Screwed in/ test fit the secondary front panel.

Secured the sides to the case a little better with an additional screw at a really funny angle. At least I got it in nicely in the end.
