Quick Update

I spent a little time last night setting up my CPU and ram Overclocks.

I have managed 4.5GHz out of my 4670K @ 1.25v stable.

At present I am running 4.6GHz @ 1.3v but I still need to see how low I can get the volts here and remain stable, so far this OC was rather Quick and Dirty.

I now have my Corsair Vengeance White clocked at 1866MHz, from its stock 1600MHz at 1.65v. I'll need to see if i can get the timings any tighter.

Timings really dont matter with haswell (ivy or sandy) just the more bandwidth the better (MHz)

The only time I've seen it make a difference is when folding, it does increase PPD - but only if you fold SMP - even then its pretty small unless you have a multi processor monster...

Fair enough, I'm probably going to OC the GPU tonight. So the R9 290 is sitting at 1150MHz on the core and 1550 on the memory, lets see if i can go much further with a Water Block and a few more volts .

Nice Rig Sir and...thats Theme´s Dude is cool=) Google and Ytubed him... like that kind of Anime lomg time ago...shows on TV after Midnight with english Sub´s but thats not anymore. sadly get away from Anime and never catched up again.

Love the layout man, you got a lot in in such a small case and still made it look good and not cramped.



I recently laced my exstention cables i bought using that guide as well, i loved the look of it and the extra effort makes your build look 100% better.

Cheers man, It was actually your build that made me decide to try cable lacing.

I was going to use one of those plastic cable clips to give a similar effect, but i think lacing gives a much more professional look. Hopefully it will look as good as yours.

Looking forward to your results. As long as you don't rush things you
should be fine. The one thing you need to watch out for a bit is that
the lacing is straight and in the correct angle across the cable, sometimes
it can get a bit crooked if you don't pay attention and then it looks slightly
weird.

Excellent! I love this lacing, I can't believe I never thought of it before. Made my system so much neater and I swear the thermals are a tiny bit lower too.

Yes it is a massive desk, but sadly i'll have to leave it behind when I move in a few weeks :'(
