Project: Toshiro Hitsugaya

cool ill be going halfords in the morning to get the SP before work so ill look at that ill probs be doing 2 coats base 3 coats paint 2 laq.

if your going to be flatting the base back you might want to apply few more coats as i dont think two will be enough to stop you throw sanding throw. id go for more like 4 or 5 if you can. with the colour you just want to keep going till it even all over and the colour you want. you want to apply a fair amount of lacquer as this is what gives you your depth and shine, also the more you have on there the more you have at a later date to work with, for example if it gets scratched you can flat and polish it to remove the marks if you have put enough lacquer on there

Right lots more under coat, thats fair i personally would prefer a matte finish and its going internal so its not gonna get scuffed hopefully.

yer better for flatting back that way mate. if you want a matt look then you can buy matt or satin lacquer instead of gloss lacquer. keep in mind tho you can not flat or polish matt/satin lacquer because as soon as you do it will turn to gloss lacquer
