finally got the z-chip chipset block today... paid $8 for shipping via UPS ground... but instead he shipped it via first class mail for about $1.50... :banghead:

but here's the result after 3 hours in vinegar & being scrubbed w/ BKF (bar keepers' friend) for about 20 minutes, and then installing the intel top on it

overall its not too shabby :hands:

well i abandoned SX for a while and went back to OCN for a few weeks, then just dwelled on my home forum of OCF for a bit too, now i said fuck OCN, came back here on frag's request, so anyways, here's the unvealing of my G5 when i first got it:

pic after i got it all set up, but when i tried to boot with all the components in, guess what... my 9600XT was dead - i had chipped a SECOND corner off of the core in the process of mounting the silverprop fusion HL on it (fucking retarded mounting for that block if you ask me, even though it IS the best performing GPU water block on the market...)

anyways... it gave me a reason to upgrade after a year...
