my black PET sleeving from SVC comes tomorrow along with some black rounded FDD & IDE cables

plus my P4 660 Engineering Sample is on its way to the seller in Florida, so then i can paypal him the rest of the cash, and he'll forward the package to me

and I'm also waiting for my final email from Cathar stating that my Storm G5 is assembled, packed & ready to ship, so that i can send him the final payment for it

what my rig currently looks like: (mind the wires... i just slapped the stuff in there to make it work for the meantime)

wow what a project dude!! u build the case from scratvh yourself?

That's a Mountain Mods U2 UFO case, it's an 18x18x18 cube case and it comes in a whole bunch of variations from MM.... www.mountainmods.com

Justin, when u expecting to get your watercooling hooked back up?

right now its running on air (XP-120) w/ my current setup that i have listed in my sig

and i'm still deciding wether its worth it to WC the s478 system that i have at the moment as soon as i get my G5, or if i should wait til i get my new LGA775 stuff in, and then WC it

definately WC the lga775. you cant really get a good overclock out of those without great cooling. pressys run HOT!

thats what i've been thinking so far - i mean, one P4 660 has already beaten a water cooling WR overclock just past 5ghz (from 3.6), while my fag ass old C0 (first stepping UGH) 3.0E Presscott will only go up to 4.01, even when running at 1.55v, its still about as stable as charles manson when i boot up, and i only have enough time to grab a quick screenie (and it wont even do that anymore 'cause its getting to bne summer)

argh C0, yeah that sucks monkeys. i believe the newest p4's are E0?? maybe just pick up a cheap 478 to keep ya busy for a while.

actusally i think e0 is only 775.

yeah, they make D0, and E0 steppings for s478, but the E0's are very scarce

but screw it - that $200 for a new processor would better be suited to buy me some DDR2 memory or the epox mobo for the LGA rig

Justin just wait for ur EPoX 5LWA+ or the SLi version of it and ur new 660 engineering sample then get all that under water... U'd be wasting ur time getting ur current setup on water just to have to turn around and do it all over again when ur new stuff comes in!

Hope it all works out for ya bro! How's that XP-120 workin' out?

XP-120 is meh - but its pretty good air cooling - but its still air damnit! i need wattah!

but look what came about 5 minutes ago!

time to start my sleeving adventures!
