Well as most know I retired the Snow Storm Case due to me not liking not having drive bays. I'm still an optical drive person lol. So I moved to a 932 Advanced as it gave me the thick 360 rad support in the roof I wanted. I havent really posted any pics yet and now i'm getting down to some upgrading of it over the next few weeks. First upgrade comes today via Newegg with a beautiful AX850 psu by Corsair and a NZTX Sentry Mesh fan controller. The sniper case had a built in controller that I sorely missed. Currently my Sickle Flows are running at 12v and not overly loud but they hum a tad. Over the next few weeks (round about income tax time) I plan on putting my GTX570HD under water with the EC-FC579GTX SE now while my current pump/rez combo would probably handle the extra block i want to add another rad as well. So I purchased a D5 pump last night for 60$ shipped

Still looking at rez's as I'm not 100% certain how it'll all go. I am very attached to the Danger Den Monsoon D5 Premium but it has a premium price as well. Anywho a few pics to wet the whistle til i get more parts. Oh and almost forgot I ordered some cable sleeving to sleeve the front panel connectors as well as the fans. It should be here by this weekend. Not going to fuss about the psu wires as they are already all black.

this is how she currently looks minus the green on the optical drive. I have already returned it to its black stage.

thats all for now time to get it installed and start cable management
smile.gif

well shes all back up and running and all I can say is dayum its quiet now didnt realize how much more noise those sickle flows made without fan control. Not going to bore ya with a pic of just a psu change and fan controller I'll wait til i have the sleeving done.

Cool beans will be nice when done. And the AX just looks so much better than the TX the black and gold over the blue and black just does it.
smile.gif

true but my build is blue and black
tongue.gif
plus thats the HX in there before LOL but I like the all black cables of the AX

ok another tiny mod lol as y'all may know the one drawback to the 932 is no dust filters. So I took the mesh from the Sniper case's side panel and well I'll let the pics tell ya
smile.gif
easy breezy mod so far only done the front intake. Still have the side panel to do.

pic of front bezel mesh removed (just 4 lil screws alot better than the bend over tabs like on Sniper

mesh of larger than meeded size

mesh screwed onto the frame with the stock mesh

all trimmed down and done

think it'll do the job

Always loved the HAF cases esp the 932. Are you planning on getting the optional windowed side panel?

Nice. The AX series is yummie. What cpu temps are you getting?

31c idle havent really loaded it up yet but I guess I need to so I can see what diff the new pump has. but temps are same at low speed vs high speed.

not sure yet havent even really looked at it but would be insane not to with a full wc'd comp lol

well mate I looked into it and while its decent Its still not a full window
sad.gif
still has that damn 230mm fan for gpu's and since I'm going to put it under water kinda pointless. I may look into modding it myself.

ok another package arrived today
smile.gif
its small but contains big improvements

HAHA Oh man, I wish we got our delivery boxes just as awesome as that.

Nice gear mate! What sized heatshrink did you go with? Well excited to see this paracord, any chance on some step by step images?

I like your Nvidia build better with the green side panel etc but this one is looking pretty sweet.

This is the one I'm talking about:-

HAF 932 Transparent Acrylic Side Window Panel [RA-932-KWN1]

HAF-932-Window-big.jpg

well Sherro may of just nixed my making my own lol but we shall see well after about 2 hours i got one front panel cable sleeved lol paracord isnt as stretchy as the stuff I used way back in the day. lol I guess I need to get the plastic connectors off to make it easier. But try as i may I just couldnt get them buggers off. so this may be a project for next week when I have a day off due to the holiday and no little ones around lmao. I may swing by the local B&M and see if they have the removal tools I need.

I think its 4 to 1 shrink it shrunk very nicely on the one I did. I got the stuff from FTW PC as a precut package as i didnt need a whole lot to begin with as I'm only dong fans and front panel wires. gotta give mad prorp to those who do a whole psu and make extensions lol

Thanks I like it as well I still have the case. Just hated losing all my bays for the rad. I have a 939 setup coming later this week or next week might just put it in the Snow Storm case for shits and giggles. I also have some extra wc stuff that i wont use with this current case but came with a package deal i got. Theres an extra 120mm rad and wb block might just wc the 9393 lol.

Any way did some more sleeving and a lil cable management cant do it all as changes are coming that wil require its removal. I tied down what shouldnt have to be taken off

front panel pre sleeving 9well one was done the other day) I now know how to remove the plastic housing for the pins

Your system renovation is coming along nicely. Really like that motherboard. You finally decided on the HAF 932 Advanced.

Dude, can you take a photo so that I can see how all of the tubing and connectors are all fitted from the rad and bay please.

lol you dont want to see that its well lets less than professional. It was kinda thrown together to get it back up and running quickly as I dont have a back up rig. Plus I was planning a redo later with new tubing and fluid. Sp the feed line from the pump to the rad loops down by my hdds then up to rad the rest is fine but it goes pump/rez rad cpu back to pump/rez

Thanks, I always seem to have difficulty in working out exactly where things go, and was getting really confused by the tubing by your HDD. That's one of the things that puts me off WC tbh. With a CPU heatsink - you just slap it on in less than 5 minutes your back up and running.
