Project: Stealthy Hexagons

Vengeance pro wont go under your cooler matey.....

that shouldn't be a problem because the distance between the cpu area and the ram slots is big enough
see pictures below

His cooler is a bit bigger than that.......

no, the cooler that he is using is the xigmatek dark knight .
and the second picture in my last post was a xigmatek dark knight mounted on a gigabyte lga 1155 mobo.
the reason why first ram slot (on the gigabyte lga1155 mobo) is block is that there is no space
between the cpu area and the dim slots but on the gigabyte z87 sniper m-atx there is space between the dim slots and the cpu area

If it doesn't fit i could always take the fan nearest to the ram off, ill size it all up tomorrow when i have time and ill report back :D

Going to do a cinebench render and by the time i get out of the shower it should be half done, then i will compare when the mean, semi-green rendering machine comes :D :D I will also take a few screenshots of in games before and after :D :D

LOL!! That's going to be a hilariously HUGE leap in performance. Good thing you benched the old system first. When you fire up that new rig and bench it, you won't be able to wipe the smile off your face with a mouthful of grenades. :D

Just watched Toms vengeance pro overview again and i don't know why corsair didn't make a green kit, it would look really nice mixed with sliver. At the moment i am watching all the reviews i have already watched but with a different mindset. :D :D

Me being over protective of my cpu cooler, i have it all assembled so its just a case of quickly slapping it on tomorrow :D :D

Expect a gigantic update tomorrow, like seriously, there will be endless amounts pictures. Every single screw will be photographed at least 7 times. But a huge thanks to Tom, Overclock3d and Gigabyte once again for making this possible in the first place. :D :D And especially a thanks to Tom for lending me some hardware :D :D
