Project: Stealthy Hexagons

So i finally have the chance to make my dream rig thanks to winning the 1st place prize. I will be going with the lime green, matte black and greyish silver colour scheme.
CPU of course will be the beastly 4770k, Motherboard will be the beautiful Gigabyte G1 Sniper 5, PSU is not definitely confirmed but im thinking corsair, modular, 750w range. I will get an SSD down the line, for graphics im thinking nvidia, maybe a 660 or a 770 sort of area, ill just see what deals are on and which will suit me best after some research. Cooling im going with my Xigmatek dark knight which matches the power phaser heatsink on the motherboard with the matte black. Case im going with a Fractal Arc Midi V2 i completely forgot of its existence until Tom mentioned it so now im in love. I will be wrapping things in lime green wrap to match the motherboard and and also in matte black wrap. Im going to challenge myself not to use carbon fiber as it has grown into an addiction wrapping everything i own  Also thanks to Tom for lending me some ram and a gpu until i get my own :D

None of this would of been possible without Tom and the rest of OC3D so just a massive thank you, i will no longer be embarrassed to share my rigs specs :D :D :D :D :D :D

Getting annoyed at your computer for lagging while making renders for the last time ever? :D

Yeah, ill be able to actually model the inside instead of just using a block with a photoshopped image on it :D And ill be able to render with the bestest settings and use bester textures and then when im done play some games that are not 2D :D

So, i have been thinking about getting some vengeance pro series memory 2x4gb at 1866Mhz, a CX750M and for a gpu i had a look at some 560s, i might get the EVGA 560 Ti as it has the lime green stripe that compliments the board and it is only about %10 slower than the 660 that i was originally thinking about getting but it is about half the price, for an SSD i am undecided still. I want to try and upgrade asap because i don't hog Toms stuff for too long and it will look pretty :D :D

Time to get modeling, then when the beauty comes i will assemble everything and render :D :D

You didn't know that already? :p

Thanks, working on the ram just now :D :D

hats off sire :notworthy::notworthy::notworthy:
That looks so good, how do you know all the dimentions
cuz that ram stick over there has the perfect dimentions  (looks real)

also love the idea for the build
and if you're still looking around for a ssd take the samsung 840 evo
just bought a 256gb one and man is it fast and relativly cheap:)

Thanks, i get the picture from google of it dead on the front and then scale it to correct dimensions and just build the shapes on to it referencing from the picture of the ram on my other screen. So ill have like this one for example:
v-pro-illustration-820-500-s.png

to find the right size of all the sides etc and ill have this one:
veng_pro_silver_hero_b.png

To get all the angles and corners in.

I was actually looking at them, i like the brushed aluminium look as it complements the front of my case to be. I will probably end up going with the 128GB one as i am only using about 60GB with my OS and programs and i can just use my HDD for my 100GB+ of stock images etc :D :D
