Project Silent Shadow

Thanks for all the awesome words! I will try to not disappoint you all.

Just for an update so at the moment I´m struggling with a design problem that I have to solve before I can move on and make more panels in the CNC.

Ofc we do!

Where are you located mate? ;D

I´m located in Stockholm;)

Looking forward to your response:)

If you want to help me with a design thing, what do you think of having all the tubing sleeved with MDPC-X sleeve or have clear tubing so that you can see all the blood red water pass through it?

I consider your type of build a form of art, I would not make suggestions to a painter or sculpture, it would take away from the work being the artists. On things like advice on better cooling, OC or getting past a problem like how to wire something is one thing but as far a aesthetics, best if its all you.

Yeah I know just becouse I asked doesn´t mean I will go with it;)

But I understand you and you will have to see later on how it will look.

From that to something that I need help with.

That is two things:

Will the 4x120mm radd be enough for my system that vill have 2x5870 Crosshair IV formula and an Amd x6 1055T ? or should I put one 120mm radd between the graficcards and the motherboard?

And I´m after a fan controller and is thinking of using an T-balancer but is that any good? and how does it work?

Absolutely loving your work.

Have just started getting into basic modding i.e powder coating / case windows / fan holes.

Would love to be able to build a pc chassis from scratch.

Look forward to seeing more from this.

Good luck mate

You must start somewhere, I started with this. You just have to make a budget and try to keep it, my budget is gone since december last year:P but if you have the money don´t stop.

Anyone can do it is my philosophy, just give it time and think out all the problems before you start!

Thanks, it was not easy!;P Unfortunately I would not recommend sleeving Fractal designs PSUs since the cables are a mess:P but it´s not impossible;)

Hi All!

After a long brake, it's time for a couple of new updates

Thanks to a graficcard crash I was forced to buy a new pair of cards:

Everything looked alright, but at a closer inspection I saw that it wasn't the cards I ordered so I had to return them to the store.

But I quickly found a new pair, but this time from another store:

What cards could this be then?

And what? might it be some new plates to the chassi?

no false alarm! it was just some part for the watercooling.

a couple of block for the gpus, backplates and a bridge.

some more tubing, a tubecutter and a fancontroller.

Tomorrow you will get some pictures from the workshop:D

After spending some time with drilling and tapping holes for screws, and at the same time letting the CNC do its work I finally got some more parts ready

Not a gigantic update but hope you like it!
