I love the waterblocks on the 480's. I also spent far to long trying to figuring out what was in the bottom of the case.

hahaha in the bottom are six hot swappable drive mounts. Very convenient and the hotswap bays are isolated from the case with rubber grommets so the vibration doesn't permeate through the case.

In the pictures I have an OCZ SSD (inside an Icy Dock 2.5" to 3.5" adapter) and a 2TB Samsung fitted on the right side and a single 320GB Western Digital on the left. I just use that for backups and unplug it usually. It's nice not having to fiddle with wires when plugging drives in and out.

It's a Lian Li PC-X2000 with the W2000 side window (Sold separately). Here is a review from Bit-Tech: http://www.bit-tech.net/hardware/cases/2008/07/23/lian-li-pc-x2000/1

Lian Li have since discontinued this model and replaced it with the Lian Li PC-X2000FB which has the same external looks but different internals. You can find that here: http://www.scan.co.u...0-esata-w-o-psu

These cases are really expensive. I paid about £330 for the case and £70 for the side window back in 2008. Some of its features include 3x140mm intake (great for a 420mm radiator if you're happy to cut the case at the bottom) and a 1x140mm exhaust. It also features 2x80mm exhaust in the bottom bay which also holds 6xHotswap Hard Disk Bays. The top compartment is a bit weirdly configured as if you use a long PSU like the Silverstone Strider ST-1500 or the AX1200 by Corsair it completely blocks quite a large part of the case in the top left which otherwise could have been a good drive cage or something.

I believe Lian Li made this case to be a flashy showcase piece as I don't think they made many of them, they were at one time the most exspensive case Lian Li offered and that's saying something as their cases are expensive already. One neat feature it has is large MB support. Takes M-ATX, ATX, E-ATX, CEB and EEB natively. I measured it for HPTX and I think it would fit if the bottom separation shelf was removed.

I think the cables look good like that, the point of buying 80$ cables and hiding them right?

really nice system you should through in some red LED on the bottom and keep the top half with white LED or vice versa I think that'd look pretty sweet

In the centre compartment where the motherboard is I'm actually using LED light strips by Phobya which are RGB. They come with a little infrared remote about the size of a credit card and it has a bunch of coloured buttons on it and you can pick most colours like Yellow, Green, Red, Blue, White, Orange, Pink, Purple and a few different shades of each colour. It's quite neat and only £30 for the Controller and two light strips. It supports a bunch of different modes too like phasing in and out of all the colours and random flashing like it's a rave.

When I set the middle part to red those cables glow almost fluorescently as if they were UV reactive. I don't think that is the case but it just appears that way when you shine red lights on them. Has a cool effect but washes out the rest of the case with red. I like to see the mix of the Black and Red together.

Thanks for the comments
