Looking at doing a reasonable upgrade soon, maybe in a the next few months perhaps.

Looking at getting 2x 7950 Sapphire OC Graphics cards,
also 3x U2312HM Widescreen

also thinking about water cooling those cards too as i currently have a H80 with some NF-12's pull pushing air out.

And thinking about changing my case too, the phantom is good but its starting to bore me now, any thoughts on a White Replacement ? I have thought about the shinobi (ninja related helps

)

Also the bitFenix Shinobi Midi Case, Will it house the above mentioned, + the others thats in my sig.

Crossfire will fit, and something like the H80 will fit too, though anything bigger might not without modding. The lengths of your current and future GPUs won't be a problem either. But this is all based off reviews, so maybe someone else can chime in.

A white case? Fractal R3 Arctic White looks sexy as!

The best mid tower case for watercooling would be the Fractal Arc Midi, but it only comes in black

But do consider it as an option, it can fit a 60mm thick, 240mm long rad in the roof with a set of fans and you'll still have plenty of space left. If you wanted to you could also remove the hard drive cages and put a 2nd 240mm rad in the front, though this is probably unnecessary.

Since your looking for a white case, the CM 690 II is a good choice, but i'm not sure if you would have enough rad capacity in that case to cool 2 7950's.

If you don't want a mid tower case, the NZXT Switch 810 is a great choice and would probably be a lot easier to WC in than a mid tower case.

hmmm yeah i was looking at the bitfinx cases and the full towers just look Meh,

the shinobi XL looks nice but not in white

(as far as i can see on the interwebs)

but i've decided on just cooling the cards as its cheaper and i already have a decent enough CPU cooler (h80)

i wonder if Mr Logan has any ideas on a nice White case that can WC 2 7950's and house a h80 too.

Whats the point in buying the sph cards if you are going to watercool them??? Thats just pointless, just buy ref cards.

If you WC the cards then leave the CPU on a H80 you also need your head testing imho :/

I was adviced, on the aria forums a few months back, to save on money and as im fairly new to W/C easiest way was to keep the H80 i already have, and try and W/C the cards, as i get paranoid about the ammount of heat being generated by the cards, especially ive im gaming or rendering.

W/C is a complete unknown to me and its just some ideas floating around, so any suggestions would be welcomed, My must have's are 3x Monitors, and to furture proof my machine with a 7950,

so unless someone can suggest a better way of keep noise to a min, and the heat distrobution to a min cost that would help

Saph cards are about as quiet as air cards will ever be tbh and without spending a FORTUNE quieter than water too. They dont get hot enough to need water.

The H80 makes more noise than the saphs.

Get some NF-F12's on your H80 with the fan speed reducer on the fans wired direct to molex. Turn the pump to max. Silent rig easy peasey.

already got 2

(as per your review's on them

well if they are quite, then i might skip the water them, and as i can fit 2 of them in a shinobi White/Blue case i guess im all sorted.

but, as an idea, if i added NF-12's to the shin, would that create enough air flow to keep the cards temps low ? As with both of them together the air flow will be reduced, i understand they are low power, but just want to keep the heat down in general

well i currently have a Phantom in white, but as im moving out its starting to become an eye saw

the white shinobi looks a lot better and is smaller in size than the massive phantom.

well the white 500r is a really nice case and modding a window on it is so easy and it looks awesome with a window.

here are some pics

with some ingenuity watercooling is an option in this case but it isn't easy or obvious. My thoughts were cutting out the floor infront of the psu and sticking a 60mm 240 rad with fans pushing air through the rad into the case and doing what TTL did to his shinobi and sticking a 240 60mm thick in the front and making a cut to the 5/25in floor the rad in front would leave you one optical bay left for mounting some HDDs with an adapter if my measurements are correct, I'm no expert but I think those should be good for 7950's and then you can stick an h100 in the roof and get adequate cpu cooling if you're going down that route but like others said it is a bit mad and there are plenty of decent sized watercooling cases out there
