Hey guys, new member to the site and i wanted to start a build log for my first ever WC build. I have most of the parts ordered but still need to order a case, res, tubing and maybe another 240 rad. Here is what i have so far.

Components

CPU: i5-3570k
MB: Asrock Z77 Extreme4
RAM: G-Skill Trident X 16GB (2x8GB ) 2400 Mhz
GPU: EVGA GTX 660Ti FTW+ 3GB
HDD: Samsung 840 250 GB (OS)
Segate Barracuda 2TB (Storage)

Cooling

Case: NZXT Switch 810 (Matte black or Gunmetal)
Rad: XSPC RX360
CPU Block: XSPC Raystorm (Intel)
GPU Block: EKWEB EK-FC680 GTX CSQ Plexi Full Cover Block
Res:
Pump: D5 Vario 8-24V
Tubing:PrimoFlex ADVANCED LRT
Fittings:1/2" ID 3/4" OD Compression Fittings (Black) x 8
Drain Fitting
Fans: Gentle Typhoon AP-15
Fan Controller: Scythe KAZE MASTER II
Coolant: Distilled Water
Additive:Dazmode Protector


For the res it is a toss up between EKWEB or XSPC, I am not sure how i would go about filling a tube res and also not sure where i would put it if decide to add another 240 rad at the bottom. The problem with the bay res is i dont how the noise will be since it is screwed into the case and there will be vibrations from the pump. What do you guys think?

They both use the same PCB so it will fit fine.

I am stuck on something and need some help guys.

I want to do some accent lighting in the case but i dont know which color to go with. I was initially thinking white accent light wit led strips and white led case fans. But now i am thinking red might look good as well, What you guys think.

the case will have red tubing and the ram modules are red as well

but then again Red would most likely wash out the insdie and not show off the colors inside

S_I_N , I will try make it as sinister as possible, but seeing as its my first ever wc build, i doubt i will be able to do the name justice.

Project Update:

Everything is put together and seems to be running fine, but i ran into a small issue but i am not sure what's causing it. Upon boot i get no signal from the video card but the display comes back once windows loads. Any ideas? Once i figure this out, i will start overclocking.

P.S I will post the pictures when i get home today.

Looks really nice Mate! The loop is nice and tidy!
