Project: iSwitched Back

So the case and monitor came in on Monday! Here are some of the pics:

And the highest 3DMark 06 score I've ever gotten:

(Ran while I was still on my 17" monitor)

Unfortunately the monitor came with two dead pixels, one of which is directly in the center of the screen, but Acer's warranty will only deem a monitor deffective should it have 4 or more dead pixels :(

Other than that though, I'm loving this system. It takes everything I throw at it :D Hopefully I can get some water cooling in here ASAP and I may be stepping up my 9600GT to a 9800GTX.

nice to see that your monitor and case finally turned up mate,it is looking good

@timmy:both my spare systems are 939:D

Just finished tidying up the inside of my case, added/moved some fans etc...

Before:

After:

:D

Edit: Btw, this could probably be moved to Rig Galleries now and have the "Project" removed from the title, I won't be doing much to if for a while :p

have you tried this?

might be worth to give it a go, btw i havent tried the program myself so dont ask me. if they'll want you to pay something for it, just download a RGB video and run it in a loop mode for a while. might work might not :)

Time for an update ;)

My HDD died a few days ago (it's been on it's way out for the past month and a half now). So while I've been waiting for my new HDD to come in (as well as a few other parts) I've taken the opportunity to make a few mods to my case :)

I won't post any pics just yet, as I haven't finished enough to really show it off, but expect some tomorrow :D

In involves Satin Black and Ferrari Rosso paint

/tease

Edit: Also, no, I never did manage to fix those dead pixels :( And Acer's service is crap, so there was no hope of sending it in for repair. They wanted ME to pay to ship it to the other end of Canada, even though it was still under warranty  Would have been cheaper to buy a new one...

Could you just not break it on purpose and then get them to send you a new one?

Looks good mate, I currently have the same HSF and case. Looks very similar.
