Thanks mate, yeah me too... It should arrive at pulsemodding today, I just hope my measurements are correct

OH WOW i love this !

^_^

WOW, this job will be super clean looking. Love all the pictures, keep them coming.

Yeah I'm hoping the finished product will be clean and professional looking

very nice so far really like the backplate nice and clean keep us all updated :D

Yeah Tom at pulsemodding did an excellent job :)

I'm now half way through putting the colour coat on (Gloss black), I've applied 6 thin coats, the reason for this is so I can sand off the orange peel without sanding right through to the primer (that's the theory anyway  )

After the colour coat has been sanded I'll be applying atleast 3 coats of clear, then I'll have to wait a few weeks for it to cure before sanding it to get a nice shine with minimal orange peel.

More pictures soon

The top panel has been cut and will be with me on Thursday, I'm very excited to see it! :D

Unfortunately I'll be poor for about a month :/ so apart from this Thursday there won't be any updates for awhile.

Anyway thanks for looking as always :)

Looking forward to see the pics of the panel!

Hey guys,

Top panel has arrived! I'm very happy with the results, Obviously massive thanks to Tom at Pulsemodding who's done an excellent job I'm sure you'll agree. :D
I was very relieved to find that my dimensions were correct and the radiator fits (tested with my 240 rad).

Thanks for looking :)

Really dig what uve done so far. Yup! This is a full on project :D
I believe this could end up a "keeper" for you for some time to come :)

"invisible ram" sort of... your thoughts on that choice.

Thanks man, I do plan on keeping it for along time, though I'll probably get the upgrade itch pretty quickly as always

I think the RAM will have a kind of understated and professional look about it, so much 'gamer' RAM about these days which I'm not keen on.

loving the build, cant wait for moar!!!

Thank you! ^_^

Stunning so far... Looking forward to see this one finished! :)

Me Too!

This project is amazing, do you do designs like these for a living man? The cutouts remind me very much of the walls inside the Deathstar from star wars.

What software do you use for the designing process? You're quiet an inspiring person when it comes to designing man, now I feel inspired to :P

Yeah you're of course correct there are some good looking RAM modules out there, I will see what my sammy green RAM looks like when installed soon and see how well it overclocks, if it looks crap or doesn't overclock well I may consider changing it. :)

Oh yeah it does look similar to the walls on the death star haha

Nope I wish I could be a CAD designer for a living, would be awesome!
The design I made up, I didn't want something to complicated and I wanted something sleek and easy to cut out (at the time of designing I thought I would be cutting the top panel).

I just use Google sketchup, it's free and easy to use, I'd highly recommend it.

Haha, well I'm glad to be of service ^_^ Now get designing! :)

Im looking forward to seeing the final result of the case of yours, it looks amazingly nice IMO. Also, did you manage to get some dust filters for the design of your case? Looks like it loves dust.

Cheers mate !

Argh! Sorry guys that it's taken me soooo long to put together an update!

In future I'm going to save up all the money needed before I start the project, rather than trying to buy parts during the project as life gets in the way sometimes.

Anyway I've managed to buy a 3930K so that'll be here soon, and I've also got some watercooling goodies coming today!.

@berthez: Yeah I'll be using some dust filters infront of the intake fans at the front of the case, I may also make the rear fan an intake aswell, I would much rather have positive air pressure to reduce the amount of dust that gets drawn in.

Cheers Guys. :)

You have no need to be sorry bro. :) Its your money and time. We are just on the receiving end of ideas and inspiration...imho. Only "bad" consequence is possible loosing a few followers due to "poor attention span" (sorry for the crappy english)

Keep on truckin`

Thanks dude ^_^

I've had a few set backs today unfortunately.

1) The 120.2 monsta radiator I sprayed white has turned a kind of cream colour whilst it's been sat in it's box in the attic...

2) One of the dual six pin PCI-E cables seems to be faulty as when it's connected to the PSU the PSU doesn't do anything, when I plug the other dual six pin PCI-E cable in the PSU works fine.
So maybe it has a short in the cable or I got the wires mixed up when sleeving (or though the PSU tester I have says the cable is fine)

So a few problems to sort out but nothing too major, just minor annoyances.

I'll receive the black screws, nuts and washers for putting the case back together tomorrow.

Thanks for reading. :)
