Evening guys and girls, i've been meaning to post this log on here for a while but never got round to it.. busy busy!

Next up on the rack is a nice TJ07

First impressions of the case are that it is really nice and Silverstone put some decent thought into it.

It's very well build and use of rivets is minimal making it deal for modding.

Quick build outline:

Case: Silverstone TJ-07 Window Version

Cooling: CPU, Northbridge, Southbridge & Mofset with 10/8mm tubing on a 680i board

I opted for 10/8mm as the guy intends to go dual loop with an SLI setup in the new year and I didn't want it getting crowded in there.

Modding: 360 Radiator Fitting, Case externals anodising & internals powdercoating.

First off a couple of the shots of the case before I started

On with the show, first problem with this case is a design flaw by Silverstone by about 4/5cm...

I wanted to leave one of the HD cages in the bottom whilst still fitting a 360 rad down there. I took one of the cages out leaving me with just this one,

The HD cage is too far away from the front on the case... it's these vital few centimeters I need to steal back to allow me to fit the XSPC R-120T rad in there.

So I moved the HD Cage as close to the front as possible, thus giving me the room to fit the rad without having it stick out of the back. :D

WOO the XSPC rad now fits.. great success!! :P

IMG_3653.jpg

Look how tight up the rad is against the HD cage...

No point me really doing much more till it's been anodised, I just fitted the EK Multioption res to the existing motherboard holes.

Nice location for it as it's directly above the pump.

The last pic gives a rough idea of the watercooling setup, theres an inline temp sensor and a drain line attached to the line running from the reservoir to the pump.

Couple of pics of the powdercoating here, ooo nice white internals!

So many slick watercooling builds going on.

Soon as I move, I`m gonna have to do this.

C'mon mate, water has been the standard for some time, my first rig was water and I didn't even know how to put a pc together then!

I'll edit this with my thoughts on the build when I get home (can't see pics at work!)

that looks so nice:yumyum::yumyum::yumyum:

i think i might have to dabble in watercooling at some point...for my first try it will have to be on an old crappy system that it doesnt matter if i kill it.......

You won't kill it as long as you do your research and properly leak test before installation... if you;'re REALLY feeling paranoid, use something like fluidxp in the rig

Holy sheet that color is awesome!! My fav color is hot pink BTW hehe. What did you use to paint it?

:o lol it's purple not pink.. although it does look pinkish from some angles.

The interior was powdercoated white and the exterior was anodised purple

If u had described the colors to me in person, I would have tried to talk u out of it.

But in all honesty, that color looks outstanding in more ways than one.
