Blue Dawn

This is a new project of mine. I am going to mod the NZXT Tempest.

I have bought some carbon fiber vinyl for it, and most likely going to cut out the back fan grill.

I will (if I can) leave the case without the plastic front and top.

I will also buy 140mm and 120mm fan grills from MNPCTech to put on the front (if I can find a way to leave the from panel off), back, and top.

Possibly create a PSU cover that will extend from the rear of the case to the front if possible.

I have bought a clear acrylic panel, blue molding stip, UV leds, and may buy some Gelid Wing 12 ad 14's.

I have also taken out the rivets holding the front part that holds hard drives, etc

Blue molding strip arrived today! Looks great. Still waiting on the carbon fiber film, and I need to buy some acrylic.

I haven't used carbon fiber film before, but I did a little test on my Lian Li PC V2010 case and it turned out pretty well.

Still can't decide which 140mm. I want subtle (not in-your-face bright) fans for this case.

I'd say, for the 120 mm fans, that the Spectre Pro's are the best, because

1. they have decent performance

2. The LED's are not too Bright

3. They are not very loud

For the Fan Grills, They both look very good, but i think this :http://www.xoxide.com/flame-120mmfangrill-black.html would suit your build better.

I really wanted to get the Gelid Wing's except I wanted to get them in the 4 pack because it would have cost me only $60, but they were gone the next time I checked

+1for the spectre pros. I reviewed the range a little while back and was very impressed.

The inner cowling is also removeable from the outer square cowling which opens up modding options toyou re changing colours or wrapping part of the fan.
