The blue... will be kept!
When I finally get around to finding out where I can get long pieces of 90 degree bent aluminium I will carbon fibre wrap it then write 'Blue Dawn' in blue molding strip and have either blue or white led's at the bottom shining up at the text.

White led's should look better imo. I think they show off the components in a much better light (excuse the pun ).

It will also break up the blue
Another thing, I am not sure if I should use acrylic/perspex or aluminium for the bottom cover.

Now I need to paint it and make the lower right-angle cover out of acrylic, install LED strips, and make text out of molding strip for the right angle cover as well as cut the window out of the side pane.

Actually, that would look quite good! Black transparent blade fans with white LED's then White LED strips.
