This is my general PC setup, with my GTX590 in my HAF-X case.
I'm having a problem with the airflow. The front fan takes in cool air, but directly above it the GTX 590 is shooting hot air right back out the front of the case. I don't have that plastic duct in there anymore because it drew the air from the front and pushed it right against the exhaust current of the card. The HX750W is gone too... I have an AX850W now, so the fans don't spin unless it's under extremely high load.
I also have the side fan blowing on the card, which does a world of difference (roughly 8-12 degrees Celcius), but what I would like to know is if putting an exhaust fan in the front blowing out through the drive bays would be beneficial to the airflow in the case. I would create some kind of duct that would suck the heat right from the card to avoid disrupting the front intake. Or would that not make a difference.
I don't want to have too positive or too negative case pressure. Please help.
