After seeing chillers AWSOME gpu power connectors ive been thinking about other areas that idea could be used in, but after around an hour of google work i cant seem to find the info im looking for (probably due to it being 5AM and being unable to sleep

).

Going from memory (and the easy to find 24 pin plug pin diagram on the ATX wiki page) 24 pin cables are Yellow = 12v - Red = 5v - orange = 3.3v - Black = Ground

Would i be correct in thinking the yellow wires on the motherboard 8pin/gpu 6pin and 8pin are also 12v and likewise the black wires being grounds?

yes 12v and grounds your answer is easily found in a mobo manual lol they always lay out the exact pin layouts

Pin No.

Definition

1 GND (Only for 2x4-pin 12V)

2 GND (Only for 2x4-pin 12V)

3 GND

4 GND

5 +12V (Only for 2x4-pin 12V)

6 +12V (Only for 2x4-pin 12V)

7 +12V

I never thought to look in a mobo manual...

Now to plan out the best way to make the 24 pin cable near enough non existent and im sorted for how im going to work all the power cables.

I'm liking your thoughts on this would be sweet to have almost no cables in the viewable side of the case.
