Post A Picture of Your Last Purchase

the full cover blocks for these bad boys are pure porn! especially the Aquacomputer one with black acrylic

This might actually be the first time I watercool my GPU, The block is that sexy ^_^

Might have to wait a month or so for the GPU loop though :)

Porn !!!

Custom watercooling should be mandatory for all 295X2's, the single slot EK block really does it for me.

I actually like the shroud and AIO on the 295X2 ^_^

Officially on it's way to me :D

Never had a dual GPU card before ^_^

Stupid epic amounts of e-peen coolness!

At any point were you tempted to get two 290X's though?

JR

At one point yes, I wanted to get 2 x MSI Lightnings but preffered the overall look of this thing plus from reviews the performance is exactly on par with 2 x 290X's in crossfire.

By the way as soon as I've done stability tests and benchmarks I shall be modding the aluminium shroud, Black metal anyone ? ;)

Two Lightnings is freaking cool though. Even though the 295X2 pricing has got uber aggressive lately it's still not dropped below the price of two reference 290X's which is quite surprising really. One would think you stand a better chance when overclocking on individual cards especially under water when you have two lots of power circuitry, not that any of the reference cards have overclocking headroom. Shame they all didn't have good coolers otherwise I think they would have been a seriously long lasting 780/970 rival.

Adding blackness could always work, a black waterblock :p, should be a cool mod, I wonder if there is scope to fit a bigger radiator and make it uber quiet.

Well a few of my friends have gotten 1100 and 5600 from their 295X2's stable in games and benchmarks so I'm hoping for something along the same lines :)

Always up for some black metal dice lol Anyway nice block look forward to see where this build goes dice and I hope you will be posting a log of it . :p when you have all the bits .

Finally ordered the Superflower Leadex 1000W 80+ Gold to replace my wonky Corsair AX860i which is now on it's 3rd replacement and keeps going wonky, I love Corsair but from now on I think I'll stick to the top benchmarker approved PSU's ^_^

Very nice dude. Superflower PSUs are the sh**.

What happens when your PSU goes wonky Dice?

Makes clicking noises, VERY loud coil whine and sometimes the system refuses to boot up and can sometimes just shutdown.

I've tried another PSU to make sure it isn't any other part and it's definitely the PSU.

No biggy though as the sexy superflower is on it's way :)

A. Rig Turns Off
B. It explodes
C. Everything else explodes

Literally explosion no BS. Rig will vaporise leaving a charred black silhouette on all surrounding surfaces, your hair will stand on end and all that's left is a folded out case and a poof of magic smoke.

Hehe jk jk, my AX860 turns off but that is my own fault for raging volts too hard. Really it's a good thing and it lets me know that it isn't going wonky and the OCP works nicely. I do like what's inside those Superlfowers, wouldn't mind an EVGA PSU one day.

Hahaha brilliant ^_^

I think a black Superflower PSU with the white crystal LED sockets would go so nicely with your builds, A lovely white under glow coming from your PSU compartment, Would contrast the red and black nicely :)

Very nice, I would of gone with the 5930K for the extra lanes though, 40 would be a lot better for multi GPU setups, Better for a little more future proofing and the name to me anyway sounds more complete ^_^
