Post A Picture of Your Last Purchase

i may have just done this.....

its from amazon so god knows when its going to turn up though

You'll be SLI'ing that with your Evga one I presume?

Otherwise changing from your current 780 to that one would be kind of pointless, unless you're an EXTREME silence freak. :p

EDIT: One to Two months for delivery time? WTF?? I've found Amazon to be a bit funny if you pick the cheapest delivery option, it's very much we'll dispatch it when we're arsed and it'll arrive 3-5 days afterwards.

erm no i will be SLI'ing it with another strix 780, i was the strix gaming rig winner remember ^_^, hence why me buying this an eying up the gsync ready 1440p ROG Swift. an yeah one to two months delivery time, because no one else on the planet has these anymore, thats why i had to go with amazon (trying to sear clear of dodgey pc suppliers).

Hah! Now that I didn't know, I haven't been as active as usual here lately. :p

Cool stuff, sounds like you've a whole bundle of nice hardware to play with now. I'd be lying if I said I wasn't envious. ;)

after returning the k70 for dead led's, and going back to non mech keyboard for a while, i placed an order for a k70 rgb, after waiting until the day scan supposed to get them into stock, i phoned em, they said no stock until 17 nov.... so i canceled the order, just got my hands on a cm storm quickfire TK, with blues, this is my first atempt at typing on it, and it's soooo nice to have a mx blue keyboard again,

In preparation for my foray into benching B)

Dench bench, I like it, who needs SFF. :D

WC'd 290x cards seem to be a very good idea. Build a bench rig out of bits you have (all the cool kids i.e. me are doing it ;) ) then see what you can do! That said, I'd imagine you can't push reference AMD cards very far...

I've got another build kind of hovering over the go button, suppose i've left enough hints around the internet to figure out what it is and it just needs 'a card' with a bit of poke and a nice block available for it and a 290X would fit that description. One day when i've got an abundance of hardware i'll setup an open benching station for sure but right now I like building rigs.

Exactly! I'm going to use my 8320 (still not reached its limit ;) !) for a while then I'll pick up something more grunt-esque when the opportunity arises.
Totally not going to steal and use that name as well ;)

How are you going to cool it? AIO's seem like a good option for that kind of use but they obviously aren't nearly pokey enough for the amount of hardware i'd stick under them ;) I got 4.7 stable on my 4820k now but could only get 4.5 with a H100i, dat voltage potential in a full loop.

I don't have any plans for a Dench Bench so go ahead
