Ah ok cool, just didn't want to see you spend big on garbageI was really busy yesterday, so didn't get time to clarify.
Firstly it's not that one. That is the Raptor 2, and costs £1000. What I bought is the Raptor 1, and the RRP is £699. However.

It's refurb. And it was half price, and it's a totally different panel in there (144hz etc).
It reviewed very well (the V1).
I almost bought one last year when Currys had them on sale for £599. However, I decided to go with a 32" curved. It (the 32) was also cheaper.
However, whilst I love the Strix dearly I have another rig at my mother's. The small one I just upgraded. And the monitor there? 32" 60hz VA I have had for 6 years.

Given I run a 2080Ti on that too and play Esport (PUBG) I really, really need a higher refresh rate. At £350? I would imagine you could get a low end IPS screen with the same or similar spec, but everything on that desk is Razer so at the price I went with it. Praying it's not broken or anything, but DPD are delivering so it should arrive in the condition it was sent![]()
hah, I never really spend big. I'm a tight bugger, and always want a good bargain
Grand on a monitor? pah, yeah, right lol.
Need a couple more small PC parts to complete the build. Am thinking about painting the case too.
Mines the reverse, get half the speed wireless so all my machines are wired. Technology can be so weird!!!
I recently got a new interweb upgrade and its blazingly fast.
I get these speed on wireless as well as wired.
