Post A Picture of Your Last Purchase

To be fair I'm pretty sure it was because of early BIOSes in the beginning of ddr5. It shouldn't be that bad anymore. If you buy a kit rated for whatever it will hit that. It's up the memory controller at that point.

I'm not so sure about that though mate, a mate of mine has just recently bought a PC with a 13900K and with the latest BIOS he was having crashes witth 64gig at rated and it's in the lower 6000 range I just can't remember which ATM anyway with the 4 sticks he's had to underclock the ram to get it stable, and I don't thhink it's the Intel bug as his system was only a week or two old when he was having the issues and it has stopped crashing last I spoke to him about a week ago.

Ducky make some god tier keyboards, especially if you just want a solid mechanical without all the gamer nonsense on top.

What's the G502X like?, I've had my trusty G502 now for over 7 years so I'm tempted to upgrade to a wireless version.

TBH I don't know yet as this is my first ever wireless and it's still in the post, my mate has the previous non plus model with the matching charging mousepad and he absolutely loves it, as soon as I get mine and I've driven it i'll be more than happy to give you some feedback if you like.

If you wouldn't mind please, mate. I just see the price jump from what I paid for my original G502 and I really do not want some buyer's remorse on something I'll be using constantly, haha.

Well mate I've had it for a couple of days now and I love it so far! I have it set to go to sleep after inactivity and to wake it is simplicity in itself hell putting my phone down on the mat is enough to wake it and it's like boom awake, it's so fast.
I've charged it once so far which was it's initial and it's still at 80% mind you I've not gamed with it yet and it's only had light work still it's not dropping as fast as I thought it would, the software is amazing though, the Ghub, I wanted to set the mouse up for Discord push to talk and thought it would be a ball ache and take ages NOPE just drag and drop the key you use to the button, less than 30 seconds I couldn't believe my eyes.
Now I'm seriously considering buying the powerplay mousepad that goes with it, a mate of mine has it and loves it as it charges your mouse constantly and you have the choice of hard or soft surface.
Also it's slightly longer than my previous Roccat Kone but slimmer, still it's very comfotable to hold and the switches feel intuitive to reach.
So yeah it gets a solid recommendation from me.

A small upgrade.

The rig has worked great. I love the 5700X3D. Problem is the case.

Whenever I close the left glass door (the one with all the stuff in it) the front fans hit the frame they are in. IE, the case is not stiff enough. Probably because a lot of it is thin grade steel.

I have put this off now for months. For ages I had a piece of masking tape keeping it from swinging open (pure jank).

So, it is time to take it all apart. I don't mind this, as I had to put the GPU into the mobo directly trying to figure out a crashing issue I had. It was not the riser, and I never did put it back to vertical. So the first thing I got was this.

That will support it properly. I then got four of these. Three for the front, one for the rear.

£16 each. My hope is that because they are solid bodied and not all flimsy like the crap MSI ones that they will not scrape. However, I will be looking closely at the frame when it is apart and will make sure that does not happen any more.

VKB Gladiator NXT Evo sticks with the premium Kosmosima grips on both, The left with a Z extension to act as a throttle, Going to make flying/space games quite interesting.

I keep getting tempted with a Warthog setup.

I have the Logitech X56 Rhino at the moment but I am getting "Phantom Button" presses so I need to sort that out at some point.

Played a bit of Elite Dangerous again recently, it's has made me want a VR headset again but at the moment a VR headset is way down the list of "things I need".

Those VKB's are supposed to be really good though, will be interesting to see how you get on with it.

I had the Logitech X56 for a week or so before I got a refund, Wasn't a fan.

From what I've heard from people that have had the Warthog setup is that it's prone to issues which for the price is unacceptable.

These however are very highly regarded by pretty much everyone that's got them so I'm quite looking forward to tomorrow :)
