The card itself was perfect, It was just 2 of the fans that were squeaking really loudly no matter the RPM likely due to a bearing fault, Lack of internal lube etc.... If I had replacement fans I could have replaced them myself.

Not so much a buy as the voucher was from the 3 months being on the gigabit fiber part of the package deal, would have prefered an amazon voucher but it was for their smart shop whole bunch of stuff so me and mum picked out some things we could use simply just to spend it, but at least they didnt charge postage so all okay not cost us anything.

Got this to plug into the CD player when it is complete to test it for sound. It is digital only, and has no DAC. I don't want to spend ages setting it up in the HIFI only to find out it doesn't work, so I can use this away from home.

Owning 5 amps is a pain. Especially when they are all manually powered on. Every morning I have to get into a lotus position and turn them on, then repeat at night. When I often bash my head on the angled ceiling. So, I can leave them on and tell "her" to turn on or off the hifi by placing this in line with the hifi's power conditioning strip.

6950XT to replace my 2080Ti Kingpin. Mostly because AMD are aholes and FSR doesn't work which means I can't play DI2 at 4k with FSR and have to drop to 1440p, but also because Starfield will be the same.

I can confirm the tapo stuff works well with alexa, since my led and bulb are working fine and my dot is controlling the TV so now i can just vegietate on the bed in the evening lol.

Yeah was really easy to set up. Like, two minutes. No peeing around with 2.4ghz and etc.

Will get the light bulbs for my mum now. The other ones I got are such a penis to set up I cba. I got one done, got sick of babysitting it and running up and down the stairs that yeah, I will get her others for the rest of the house.

She'll not need to use the smart sockets she has just be more sockets is all, but the led she's decided to have around the dressing table, they both have a bunch of settings other than standard colours, fairly bright as well.

I did order another pair of trainers new site i'm trying see how it works called temu mum also ordered some stuff just cheap is all, but no good for anything tech related but clothes etc fine.

She doesn't change the colours. These are literally life and death items tbh.

The light switch on the landing was out of view, and she stacked it trying to get to it one night. It has been a life saver for her to tell "her" to turn it on and off. She can do that from her bed like.

The problem is they are a ball pain to set up at best. You have to get up and change them, then set up a 2.4ghz band on the router (they won't work otherwise) then sign into it on your phone, then switch the wall switches. It's like something out of Candyman tbh. As such it is a total bolok pain and after doing one I was in no mood to do three more.

And she just switched broadband, so I am in no mood to do it all again. Lest not four times either, as it doesn't work on my Iphone at all. So I would have to dig out an old android phone and yeah... F those apples !

ah i see well the tapo ones i set up today took like 2 mins each, just connect to the bulbs wifi in the tapo app and then to your main wifi it remembers it and your done really simple to do, easier than others i've used, so you shouldn't have an issue, did one on my iphone and one on my mums android one plus.

which regardless of colour at least mum can turn it on and off from her phone makes life a little simpler where as i talk to the devil incarnate and generally annoy her lol

Case in point? I warned her on Saturday that I was tired (was working on a bike, it was hard work) and needed a day off. DO NOT call them, because I want to listen to my headphones. It's a part of my autistic ritual and I get VERY angry if I don't get my music.

So she calls them, ignoring what I said. She then said "They are going to call your mobile" and I knew she would not be able to answer it. Sure enough, they called, she fluffed it and came up smashing on my door saying she missed the call.

Drives me mental she does. Had to get her one of those 1998 flip phones ffs.

I bought her a BLU Nokia Windows phone years ago. She couldn't even get it to wake up ffs.

Nah seriously you can't. After 15 years of trying I gave up. Some things just need to be left.
