Post A Picture of Your Last Purchase

You utter nutter ^_^

You could have quite literally paid 50 or so quid more and gotten a Titan XP which does have quite a bit of extra grunt over a 1080, But whatever tickles your pickle :)

We can't buy Titan XP's here in Australia as there is no way for us to buy direct from Nvidia so this was the best that I could buy

From what I've read on other forums the TXP are actually pretty shoddily put together with some sub standard materials, Read it on OCUK and various other forums from TXP owners.

lol I've not heard you say one single positive thing about TXP.

I've not heard any complaints. Under water they really come into their own too. In fact, water is pretty much mandatory, but I guess nearly every one who buys one either already has water or could afford it any way.

Most of my info I'm getting from Kaapstad who has 4 of them ;)

Just buy one dude, then it will be awesome.

Lolz but no.

The build quality is p*** poor according to quite a few TXP owners with the cooler being crapediem.

I could go and get 1 now but it's the fact that the cooler really isn't up to the job and I don't want to have to go out and spend even more just to cool the card properly plus I'm quite content with my 980 Ti for the moment as I got a good 1, 1550 stable on the core and 2100 on the memory which will do me until Volta hits :)

Pascal Titans on water are awesome and can hold better clocks than air cooled 1080s.

Some of the thermal pads are really crap and a bit like chewing gum to remove. Placement on some cards could have been better too. The thing I noticed from fitting waterblocks is the performance of all 4 of my cards got very close to each other possibly backing up what I am saying about the standard thermal pads.

The stock air cooler is not good for mGPU with 3 or 4 cards as things get way too hot and crash.

None of the above matters if you water cool the cards which most users will do anyway with more than one.

Water cooled they are beasts and great for gaming. I hope this clears things up.

Thanks Kaap, Yeah I'm not getting 1 simply because of the cooler, I want 3rd party support from either Asus, MSI or Zotac which we'll never get with the Titans hence I'm going to wait for Volta's offerings :)

Seriously, most fun little game i bought this year, it is amazing.

Most expensive 'photo' I've ever bought and not had an actual copy of other than the Mrs grabbing a snap on her phone..

Dog was poorly and had to get an XRay, my wallet said ouch, but he's fine now. Figured it was an interesting thing to put on here.

Dogs ey, who'd have em?

My dog is getting the snip tomorrow. :(

Poor little guy. Seven years old and generating too much testosterone so its causing tumors to form.

Yeah much better now, Xray showed the all clear and that it was mostly just some bad-ass gastroenteritis, ultimately the xray was a waste of 360 quid, but I'd rather know than not y'know?

Bless him, it'l do him good.

3 of ours got the snip at about 13 months, and we have a 4th who's probably going on the cutting block soon, needs calming down.

They need em for about 12-18 months for developmental purposes and stuff, but after that unless you're breeding it's far healthier for them in the long term to have em off (has the added bonus of not having to look at doggy bollocks all the time too).

Ours are too lap-doggy to have their balls hanging all over the place lol

What's his name? Lucky?

hahaha I was sitting here thinking "is that a willy?" as I missed you saying that at the end. Then the slow and long urge to ask started to boil up lmao.

I remember reading years ago that dogs actually have bones in their willys, hence the term, but yeah that's pretty mad man :D
