Yeah it has turned out that way. A few server communities have a hugely experienced playerbase. Kinda weird that they stick to one particular server as I didn't imagine a BF game to get all Source engine-y with communities.
Also I used to find arena shooters boring but a couple of games changed it for me.
The good players in BC2 only play on ~4 servers as well.
Project Venice could make BF3 interesting again. That game needs lots of fixing though.

The fact you are not hurling yourself around at 1000 miles an hour jumping 500 feet from 1 platform to the other, Graphics, Sound etc...
Just accept the fact not everyone likes arena style games.

Graphics and sound are trivial, BF4 would be nothing without those two, hence i think it's a bad game.
So the game is faster and hence it is boring? Where is the logic in that? You wouldn't say a slow car is more exciting than a fast car either.

To YOU it is trivial, But I like my game to look and sound good and not go 1000 miles a second like the arena style games.
Again, Accept that it's a difference in taste, You like boring Fugly games that are fast fast fast.
I like games that look nice, Sound good and go at a moderate pace.
And it depends on the car, If it's a classic then yes I would, You have a lot of growing up/maturing to do to realize everyone has different tastes entertainment.

Woa, so it is subjective whether graphics are important or not but is objective which game looks good and which doesn't? Solid observation mate.

I don't just accept other people's opinions unless there is proper reasoning behind it. Preferring graphics and sound over gameplay tells me that you aren't really an in depth kind of gamer, which is acceptable, but putting speed and boring in one sentence makes no sense at all. That is just opposing biology.
You don't have to like fast games, but then at least give me a proper reason for it.

As said before, i accept opinions within reason. I don't accept opinions because heck, it's an opinion.

I used to BC2 before BF3 was announced and it was always dead(on ps3). So after playing a while before everyone started to play the game i was already far better than most. I pretty much ran around with my sv98 and i wouldn't have to aim to get my headshots, just a "quickscope" at almost any range. Hell i even sniped heli pilots consistently just for the lolz. I miss those days. It was all skill and fun but most modern shooters are just bout the money and DLC...

Whether you like speed or not is down to personal opinion, but calling a faster game boring because it is fast is not reasonable.
Neat how you are completely incapable of having a discussion without attacking your opponent rather than his opinion.
Arguments like "it's my opinion and you have to accept that" are called "Totschlagargument" in german, maybe you can make sense of that and realize why it's impolite to use them.

It's not impolite to use them when the person on the other side i.e you keeps asking "But why do you have your own personal taste that differs from mine, why, why, why, why ????"
I'm not attacking you at all, Your just completely failing to understand and accept on any basic human level the simple fact that other people have different tastes which is very immature and shows you have a lot of growing up to do.
And I never once called it boring just because it's fast, I called it boring because I find that genre/playstyle boring.
Now please grow up, Realize different people like different things and lets move on.

I was joking, but serious about how super boring it is
The skill level of BF3 players are way higher than BF4 players. I thought I was pretty good, but then I went back to BF3 and I got owned.
