CoD is turbo mode. Imagine how turbo'ed they'll be in the new one. Its like CoD on a bouncy castle.

No no no no, Arena shooters like quake are turbo war on red bull and speed, Battlefield is a lot slower than arena style shooters, Still fast don't get me wrong but no where near as twitchy fast as quake style games.
I play cod4 promod as well, that's two genres! Also i played a good 1000h of BC2, that game wasn't hard, but it allowed skilled players to get far better results than in BF3/4.
Unreal Tournament is so slow i can't handle it.
PTFO used to be fun in BC2, in BF3/4 it's just boring as hell. People play like shit and the game rewards them for it.
Barnsley and SuB will kick your head in any minute now.
Also why would i want to be in a war, it's a game.
Definitely not. You could argue that promod isn't a part of CoD, but people also played CoD1 and CoD2 competitive and the promods in that game don't differ much from the original games.
For the new CoDs i'd say it's about the same as BF.

Yes and no, CoD is still a bit of a twitch shooter and very close to quake arena style.
I advise you to sign up for the army and head to the middle east, realism isn't that desirable. Especially when it's fucked up pseudo realism like in BF which has literally nothing in common with actual war other than the visuals.
CoD is 5v5 and Quake in 1v1. At least when i play it. Also Quake is a lot faster.

Oh I'm aware of mods and older games. I'm comparing new game to new game. No promod or project reality otherwise we'd be here all week.

Maybe you find that boring, but when you cap a flag being defended by 5 guys all by yourself, its a pretty great feeling. Especially when you get called out for hacks for it. Its all really subjective, some people like their Arena shooters, and others like "pseudo-realistic" shooters.

There haven't been any good players in new CoDs since CoD4. Also i could still install Battlefield after not having played for a good two years and still trash people, that's not really a sign for good players, especially since i am maybe mediocre at fps games. Maybe there are a few above average, or they are good compared to the rest, but definitely not good in general.
I just don't like walking around slowly with an LMG waiting for people to come around the corner in pub games, it's no fun. I know BC2 isn't exactly a real Battlefield game, but they managed to get the balance right between realism and arcade shooter with that one. Something they failed at completely in BF3/4, probably because all good devs left after BC2.
I always tend to imagine what a game would be like with graphics from 10 years ago. If i then think it would be boring and not worth my time then i know that the game is no good.

all the mediocre ones play BF4. Compared to 4, 3 is a master piece so you get the more 'hardcore' types who'll bitch at you for using certain weapons.
Honestly I just play BF3 as an engineer and rush around the place. It works well, especially when the free weekend was on and most players were completely unaware.
So BF3 is to BF4 what BC2 is to BF3?
Well, wouldn't say that BC2 has a bunch of awesome players, most of them are shitters who picked up the game at some sale and have only played for 30m, but there are a few people who've been playing for years and got really good at the game.

Yes and it was boring, I don't like twitch shooter arena games, They bore the shit out of me, I don't find them enjoyable at all.
Remember, Difference of taste, You play 1 game and 1 game only, I like many different types not just first person twitch arena shooters.
