MOBO: ASROCK Extreme 4 x79
RAM: Kingston HyperX Genesis Grey 16GB
SSD: 2x 250GB Samsung 840's in RAID 0
HDD: 2x 500GB mechanical drives (prob will get rid of these at some point)
GPU: EVGA GTX780 3GB
PSU: Antec 850w
CASE: White Corasir 600T
CPU Cooler: H100 with 2x SP120's
CD/DVD: Asus 24x DVD±RW DRW-24F1ST SATA
MONITOR 1: BenQ XL2420TX 24"
MONITOR 2: LG E2250V 22"

I had been comtemplating on maybe a G-SYNC monitor, or possibly a mobo and cpu upgrade but im unsure, any help would be appreciated.

Sorry if ive posted this in the wrong place.

Are you using OEM Windows? If so, you'll need a new copy if you change your motherboard.

System looks pretty good to be honest. Perhaps 16GB RAM could be useful, depending on what apps you use.

What resolution do you use, and what do you use your PC for? A budget will help too!

Yeah, i have 16GB of RAM (sorry i didnt word it that well, ive changed it now)

My current resolution is 1920x1080, i use my PC for gaming and gaming only.

My windows 7 is Upgrade media, but when i reinstall i do a custom install.

to be honest at the minute, im only really wanting to see if theres anything that people would suggest I upgrade if anything.

Honestly looks great so far, and you won't really get any more performance from upgrading, your system is amazing for 1080p already. Focus on peripherals/aesthetics of your setup, perhaps :) If you use headphones, a sound card could also be nice!

The soundcard is a good idea, but will i notice much of a difference from the on board 7.1 surround to a sound card? The headset I'm using is a Razer Tiamat 7.1

You can always benefit from a sound card or external DAC.

Although Razer like to say the 7.1 is the "first true 7.1 headset," it's actually a gimmick. Better off with 2.0 Headphones that are a high quality build, with an Essence STX card.

However, you can still gain a benefit with your Tiamat's. Perhaps an Asus Xonar DX 7.1 would suit your needs.

Think the only thing to upgrade is those HDDs. Mine as well get a 1tb storage drive. Seeing this high end build would be a shame to have HDDs in it.

I personally only run SSDs so i guess i am biased though.

i agree neverbackdown, I do plan to remove them totally and eventually get something fast for my storage drives or just run with the SSDs i have currently.

i do have a 128GB OCZ vertex sitting here doing nothing, but i feel its not big enough to use as storage

It could fit a game or two on it but i would rather get a bigger drive that holds more than two games safely.
Could sell your OCZ drive and use that money towards a bigger SSD.

128GB isn't actually that bad. I have 128GB (111GB usable) drive with Windows 7 and about 4 games, Bioshock being one of them at 30GB+ and loads of other stuff and I have about 30GB left. Admittedly I have disabled system restore, disabled hibernation which frees up about 15GB and set my virtual mem on one of the partitions on my storage drive.

Still would want a bigger drive. Makes things easier tbh
