Portforwarding on a Lynksys E3000 running Tomato.

I am trying to set up a home gaming server for Minecraft and despite trying to use Hamchi and my own hand at Port Forwarding I have failed over and over and...FREAKIN OVER AGAIN! If anyone can help me out with figuring out Port Forwarding that would be fantastic!

I am running TomatoUSB 1.28 Shibby on my Lynksys E3000 router.

It should be relatively easy to setup, only thing you might have problem with is your ISP and them blocking ports for home server hosting, although this day and age, there are relatively few that still do it.

Is the server running separate or is it on your main machine?

Have you set the ports to be forwarded, the same as the minecraft server port?

Have you set an exception in your firewall to accept incoming connections on that port?

These are just the top few questions off the top of my head that would need to be answered before we we can proceed any further with figuring this out.
