Wow DeJaVu.

What do you guys think of a "Real" Page. I mean a Page with News, Tutorials and reviews ? That could be easily realized with a VBulletin Portal PlugIn.

Just a Little Idea but if you want to stay Forum Focused thats no problem ;)

Yeah I like the idea of having a good facade with reviews, links, news, etc.....
 
Yep, i'm already half way thru implimenting this. Its gonna take time to get it too look the shiznit tho :D
 
jimbo has LOTS of other things he is doing to the forum atm, some you will notice and some you wont't, rest assured it will get done eventually. we will wait and see what he says anyway.

have to keep an eye open for the changes lol ;)
 
I think the portal will be a great addition to the page... We can showcase current news and new parts announcements, as well as list all of our new reviews, etc.

Tiz going to be sweet my friends!

BTW if you need help with programming and designing one i am here :D

I have knowledge of PHP, MYSQL, HTML and All Graphic Stuff you could possibly want :D

you should do some programming eg c++

Thanks for the offer FalconFX, i may well need to seek your assistance - i will see how it goes.

At the moment i've put the project on hold as vbulletin are working on their own version which should be awsome.

We'll see what they ahve to offer, and if its not up to scratch then i'll continue with the development of our own one.

As a side note, i have a feeling that in the near future i may have to detach myself from the forum a bit in order to get some of these new features completed.

You sound like a very useful man to have around :D

Um..yeah I've been nagging the forum team to get thi for ages....I know Jims busy so I can wait ;)

What i mean is that i should concentrate on some of the backend stuff (like the portal) a bit more, and leave the day-to-day running of the forum in the capable hands of the mods and news team.
