Took the long drive down to my bench mate with my card loaded with new hardware, 20 kg dice and my friends new single stage compressor.

He had bought a X79 setup with a 3930K cpu and Rampage IV Extreme motherboard that i had picked up for him.

And what a sweet board it is

If you are going to start benching X79 then this is the board for you!!

His cpu turned out to be pretty good. Boot in with 5400 mhz stable for all benchmarks

Had to test my Q6600 and a HD5870 on dice.

how do you keep the memory cool with no sink on the gpu, does the cold spread enough.

Waste of time to cool the memory they don't get hot.

I only use a fan to cool mosfet thats all
