What fans would you use?

goddammit im racking quite a bill here....

Oh and the reservoir that will go int the thermaltake armour case, cant decide whether or not to get 25cm or 50cm? Is there any big diffference apart from that you wont have to fill the reservoir more frequently?

Is there going to be any weird slushing noises coming from my pc if i get this one?

If you do it right there shouldn't be any slushing. As for the radiator I'm pretty sure Black Ice's are pretty good but i would wait for some input from more knowledgeable people.

Here's my list so far for the water-cooling setup:

Alphacool Liang D5 pump (1/2")

Alphacool Pro50 Reservoir

Alphacool GT Black Ice Stealth III 360 rad (which comes in 1/4"...)

Masterkleer 3m tubing (7/16")

Fluidxp

Is there anything I've left out?

The only reason why I'm dumping the TT-WC that came with the case is that I dont want water spraying all over my brand new 8000GTX card and Quad, so I'm looking for the best setup possible. Is there anything that I've left out or any changes that you would make to the setup?

And is this pump better

http://www.scan.co.uk/Products/ProductInfo.asp?WebProductID=392165

The only thing that I've left out are the fans.

I need 3 fans to go into the rad - what would you use?

(something cool, bright, efficient, quiet and UV)

And finally, would you recommend me using 2 pumps or is this fine?

The Black Ice Stealth GT is skinnier than other radiators. This of course is for it to be low profile and "stealth" but I think it might have a negative affect on your temps.

i could sell u a BIP 120.3 and a 50z pump cheap, h/e if u want performance get a thermochill, and best pump besides conventional pumps would be the DDC-2 with petras or Liangs top. i would not get the pump with the res, it decreases performance, instead this.

EDIT - do not get the BIX rad, unless u want some major noise its not worth it. the GTX are fine h/e if ur gonna front that much cash its about the same price as a thermochill.

I was thinking of getting the 8800GTX with DD blocks already attatched (that way I wont void the warranty of a normal GPU by attatching my own water block)

http://www.bfgtech.com/8800GTX_768_PCIe_wc.html

For the CPU, I havent decided yet.

Looks like the pump ai suggested then! :D

K prob not gonna go for thermochill a) the ones i want are too hard to get b) discontinued!

so i guess that would leave me with Black Ice GTX III Gen 2 Xtreme Triple Radiator right? should i wrry bout noise in this thing?

hmmmm........ fans..........................

if u can get the Swiftech MCR-320 rad in the UK id get that one, best price/performance rad also u can put some low cfm fans on it so its super quiet. h/e if u cant it the GTX 360 from black ice is good.

the dangerden is bigger than the alphacool one, if u havent ordered ur stuff yet id call petrastechshop, and they will give u a high quality bundled package at a reduced rate. the pump, rad and cpu block along with Masterkleer tubing and anything that u might else need, if u dont like the EK res or dangerden Polyethylene, or swiftech microres, all u have to do is get a res and fluidxp else where.

np, bigger sometimes isnt better, u got ur HE and PA series, tests have shown that dense fins even with higher cfm cant beat PA. and HE series rads tend to be bigger.

The DD Black Ice GTX is waaaaay too expensive.

I hopped into another forum and they pretty much said thermochill was the way to go, so I'm thinking PA120.3.

h/e it does seem pretty long: 430x128x61 compared to 397x133x54 (and swifttek 410x128x34)

The TT-amour is 530 so I'm worried how much room I'll have left to play around with.... what do you suggest?

This is the new list:

ThermoChill PA120.3 Rad

Laing DDC Pump 12V Ultra

Cape Coolplex Pro Plexi 10 Resevoir

7/16" ID (5/8" OD) Masterkleer

3/8" BSP 1/2" Barb - Nickel (x 4)

Eeek, swap that DDC back out for a D5, the D5 skewlz the DDC.

Other than that I think you have a nice little list going :) PA120.3 is a helluva rad.
