As for tubing Tygon is nice but wait till Frag gets on later because he has some tubing that he loves and says beat the pants off Tygon.

1/2 vs 3/8 I'm not sure about. I always thought the more water the better cooling. You wont have to worry about bending it too much because you have a large case so tight bends won't be a problem.

The pump is fine

If you are cooling more than 1 device I would definately use the 1/2 hose.

Tygon is the Best (very flexable)but there are others that work well too.I use this

That hose with the braided inside I probably would not use (too hard(stiff) to work with)

i use 7/16" ID Masterkleer tubing its a lil smaller than 1/2 and bigger than 3/4 and fits perfect on 1/2 barbs. its said to be the best performance.. but i havent seen any tests, i use it b/c it bends well, its cheap, dosnt kink and its bigger than 3/4.

As stated the tubing you were looking at probably isn't the best and will most likely be too stiff. If your pump and cpu block are both 1/2" then I'd just get 1/2" tubing or 7/16" ID Masterkleer seeing as AI says it works a charm on 1/2" barbs

u gotta push them on the barbs which on some barbs can be a pain but u wont need clamps.

No less actually, the fit will be tighter (ID=inner diameter) . Either way you should use some jubilee clips and do them up nice and tight (there are alternatives but i prefer to put my faith in jubilees)

And to make them easier I put the ends of the hose im very warm water for a minuite or two and it becomes easy to install.

I think it helps to get air out of the loop, and its easier to keep the system full and to see what the water leval is.

u wont use 12 ft, but more is better and ull be cutting it, 10ft @ min, i use around 7 or so in my loop.

A reservoir will make life easier in the long run in terms of filling the loop and general looks.

More tubing is worse really, it puts more strain on the pump and longer to warm up in the case (cases ambient temp is bound to be slightly higher than outside). The later is probably negligible due to the usual wall thickness of decent tubing.

And I buy in 3M lengths

any recommendations for UV dyes/ water stuff to fill the tube?

UV dye is optional, usually decreases temps h/e proboly not enough to effect performance, but if u crunch on everything to drop temps u should be able to oc more. i would use penotosin they have blue and red or if u wanna be safe fluidxp(its expensive h/e ppl that have had leaks are proud they bought it). im sure others have their own opinons but this is my 2 cents.

This is my first time at watercooling and building a new pc so thnx for helping out everyone.

I have another question about the setup of the rads at the front.

Would it make more sense to get one huge 360mm rad instead of just buying another 120mm rad to go on top of the 240mm rad I already have?

(or would i get the 120mm rad and just not plug it in as part of the watercooler setup?)
