Hi there, So I have been using a crosshair III mobo and a phenom x4 965 be that I got about 2 weeks ago. I have updated the bios to the most recent one. But the computer only turns on when it feels like it.I have tried changing the ram. Sometimes it works fine after I take my cpu fan out and put the stock one in, or if I unplug all of the case fans. I have never seen a pickyer motherboard in my life! Please help me... Btw, this motherboard just killed my beautiful Corsair K90 keyboard

assuming this is used hardware?
problem was always there? or after the BIOS update?

need to verify the 8-pin CPU power plug is compatible with your PSU standards.
saw two others having similar issues on older AMD platform boards. the support
always pointed back to the PSU and the 8-pin power connector. one even had to reflash
the BIOS and when was done it was functional (it was a giggy) again.

yes it was used. The problem mainly started happening when I put my zalman cooler on it. I thought that a bios update would help...... I guess I was wrong
