Plans have once again changed for chilly1 unit...

Here's another update. I talked to Reggie on the phone for about 45 minutes yesterday regarding my unit, he actually called me back after a missed call which I was happy to see him do.

Anyhow seeing as I don't have a rig anymore and the complexity of trying to fit a cascade in to the U2 + getting it shipped to me in 2 pieces was just going to postpone the completion that much longer. We talked about the options and what we decided to do in the end was just say screw the U2 case and have him build up a standard chilly1 cascade. The standard cascade uses a pair of 1hp motors enclosed in a nice custom case which does -100*c @ load, pretty hardcore!

Hopefully with this new plan it will be easier for Reggie to complete the unit and get it out to me so that I can resell it. My car is acting up on me again and I really need to pick up something new quickly. I'm hoping within a month or so I might see something, but I'm not holding out for it. He has about 20 units to get done, which one of mine is the first but also the most complex, he's trying to get all the basic SS's done before anything else which I'm cool with.

Just thought I'd let you know what I've got on the drawing board.

Yeah mate, he also refinanced his house to get back the stuff that PayPal didn't give back to him.

He's quit one of his jobs and spending more time working on all of the units now which is good. He has about 90% of his list done, but he's having serious issues with the G-Frosters as they have a software glitch which is scrambling he displays. Ssilencer is working overtime to get a fix together to send to Reggie so the problem will go away. Once that happens a lot of unit should be shipping out and he can get to working on mine and get it completed.

@glock: Yup that's what it's for World record overclocks and benchmarks galore! I'm still pondering the idea of keeping it as it would be a valuable asset to our benching team. I don't think anyone else will be rocking the -100*c cascade on the team so I may as well pimp it right?

Frag, just a question, did you plan on going Intel or something with that unit, cause no AMD would be able to boot at those temps, lol, let alone opterate an estimated load temp of -65*C..
