planning to put the 580s underwater

hey guys Ive been thinking about put my whole system under water for a while now, but with a few peoples help Ive decided to keep the noctua because of the temp are just amazingly good, however I thinking of having my asus 580s underwater. Ive always thought watercooling was awsome but never thought about the maintenance, so fellaz tell me what I need to know!

silverstone raven rv01 (which i know is for aircooling but you know) massive case itll fit anything you can throw at it, one of the online stores in aus are having water block sales like I can get a re3 motherboard block for $99 and there usually 150 + im thinking around $550 aud
 
Huh raven RV01, this one could get tricky. As far as I’m concerned you could mount a 360 on the back of the case but you would have to leave it open(you can’t put the plastic back). Maybe one or two 120 radiators could be mounted internal. This leaves the question open if you want the rad mounted on the back, but it will be visible.
 
im also considering getting a xigmatec elysium when it eventually comes out, and if it looks decent which atm the pics Ive seen of it does not look the goods bur im happy to have a big rad at the back becuase ill barely even see it. you ever own a raven?
 
If you don’t have a problem with the rad at the back of the case it’s ok. No I didn’t have a raven it simply doesn’t appeal to my eyes

Cooling the GPU and mobo? I would reconsider cooling the CPU as well or you have a good reason not to besides the noctua?
 
you can mount a 480 rad in a rvo1 i have that case as well you just have to no were to put it XD i seen a bild log on the web cant remember what site but he did it and it looked amazing he mounted it above the powersuply were the 2 180 fans are
 
Really hate to say this dude but youll idealy need a new case. its really not worth messing about with the raven tbh.
 
god that tubing looks hell nice and classy, If im going to get a new case recomend me one fellaz

im tempted to get the phantom but would that be a downgrade?

I have the phantom and I think that it is a great case. Going to try some WC in it soon. waiting for parts. it has a decent mounting system for a 240 Rad in the top of the case, but I'm going to try and stick a 360 up there. might take a slight mod to the case, but there is plenty of room for it.
