Yeah, we should sort out a server IP to get some practice in soon. My comps are in pieces at the mo, and am working to get my PSU fixed so I have a working PC for CSS soon!

We are currently looking into getting a server for practice and what not. Where would the best place to get one be?

I have a few mates that would like to join up, so the're gonna sign up to the forum to join the team at some point. Not really clockers or anything just gamers :).

I just got a b33f.co.uk CS server for £30/month (which is reasonable when the whole clan pays for it).

I don't know if they do CSS ones but I imagine price will be similar. I.e. if we get one for one month and 6 of us pay it'll be about £5 each. That's not too bad for 4 weeks of [EPUK] CSS fun. Defo look into it. I'm willing to put in £5
 
Ok, been looking around and found Jolt.co.uk. The unbranded CS:S server for 1 month is £35. Would anyone be interested in paying for this through clanapy which is a split payment thing. If so please post in the new thread called, clanpay signup.

NOTHING else goes into that thread or else it'l get confusing.

Split into 2 mate, although the bots are crack shots, there linear paths can be observed and at times they just dont react like a human :)
 
I have difficulty taking on the olde bots when they are set to a high level. They are damn good shots - but they know where ur hiding! The computer doesn't lie to them!

I was on compound hiding on the top of that carriage, and one just jumps round the corner and headshot me! Crazy little fellas... :)
 
lol @ bots they crease me up some goo AI work gone into them etc (i think valve spent to long on the bots voice system) noobs aye :/
 
HURRAH! Got Half Life 2 today for £15 from a high street retailer! :eek: Now I can actually do, instead of saying I will. :)

Pah, non believers :D

I know a few people that didn't like it, but that was cos they had crap computers, and they were crap players anyway. (not saying u are Grov ;))

Everyone else who plays, loves it. But I can't really say much, as it's the only game I play :(

It's also a totally different game when you are playing as a clan, it involves much more tactic than just running around shooting! :)
 
Hheh i think it's the other way round. Everyone plays, it, there are so many noobs, and crap who play it.

Saying crap like owned, 1337 and whatever all the time.

LOL.... I cant play it all that well, but I avoid leet speak like the plague. How can someone call themselves "l33t" when they cant even spell it?
