Ok guys, ive given up trying to join MOD. So, what i now ask is how many people would be happy to setup a EPUK clan. We need at least 5 active members before even considering starting.

A clan is basically a group of friends that play a game together. They will put a "tag" on to designate there in a clan, in this case [EPUK] . I clan will talk to each other over a voice coms program, Teamspeak or ventrillo.

There is also competitive play, which yet again if the clan goes ahead people who wish to play leagues can do. Competive play is where a clan joins a ladder or league and plays organised matches, they play for a set number of rounds on each team and the team with most rounds won will win the game. These are highly fun, tactics planning is however required but really brings a bunch of online friends together.

With EPUK as the clan name, it's a bit of a giveaway that we'd be running kick ass machines - they'll just say that cos our PC's are faster, is the reason we'd giv em such a whippin

True - they would make excuses. I'm up for joining but I'm also running a cs 1.6 clanserver this month so might be very scarce on an [EPUK] clanserver for a while.

Yes you did.

I'm in a cs clan atm but I still want to join the EPUK css clan. I agree I'd rather play it - give the fx57 and 7800s a bit more of a run for their money.

The only thing I have ever played online is UT 2004 and I suck more balls than a 10p hooker at that due to my playing style (close range kill frenzy)

If I get some practice in I would be interested, and hey, you could always use me for target practice!

Different playing style is a good thing:

Good team tactics -> send in a kamikaze player to show the location of the enemy, and so that the enemy empty their clips. Then the other players run in and finish em off!

I`m up for it, tho I`ve never played CS:S either. Only played UT2004 and Halo online...i`m only as good as the rest are bad. I`ve been meaning to purchase 1/2Life 2 and Doom 3 for a while, so might just get my fingers out and do it
