hhhehe, depends what iam doing. obviously with a sniper rifle you tend to camp a bit more. Also depends on the game type.

I very rarely play just DM or TDM as it's basically noobs. I only use it to practise my Rifle skills.

I play Search and Destroy most the time.

I also play a fair bit of Ut2004 when im in the mood.

I should have me new rig up soon, so we can play next week hopefully.
 
I should have completed the single player by then.

I too play UT2004 - usually domination.

Search and destroy - sounds stealthy?

Does that mean you turn off all the flowery bits or even reduce the LOD setting for the GPU so you can see people before they see you?

Ok guys, MORE news. I will setup TS later on this evenin for a test run if anyone is up for it. Also I just found out, I have 1Gb webhosting and 35Gb bandwidth not being used cos my domain name just ran out, SOOOO we have hosting for free from me aswell :).

No need to pay a penny as it's a mates server and I get it all free.

Lemme know if anyones around for a TS test later. I'll whack the IP up and ports. Just trying to figure out how to host 2 off the same machine with the same IP but I'll get there in bout an hour.

If you don't already have TS go to www.goteamspeak.com and download the client RC2. There WILL be a password on the server, but I'll put that up later and those who join will know the new password after about a week so people looking on here can't get it.

By the way, I play UT2k3, UT2k4, BF1942, CS, CoD, and SWG online.

Thnx for the overwheleming response. If we can keep this enthusiasm up EPUk wont just be top of benchmark tables.
 
Yea I love gaming mate. Tried to do this when EPUK first started with not much luck as no-one really wanted to start a gaming clan.

Ok a little earlier than I thought because the router played nice with me today so here we go.

Server IP and password, no username needed just password, and in the nick box just whack the game name you'l have.

Yeah, we should sort out a server to get some practice in, and to learn how each of us play...

I know I need some practice, I haven't played for over 2 months!

I also have a buddy who is not bad at all, so its all looking peachy :)

If we want to decide on a domain name for the site (epukclan.com?), I can get it sorted (no fee) - maybe as a redirect (Boardy let me know if thats okay and where to re-direct to?)

Can also sort out some EPUK ownd/pwnd sprays :D
 
Maybe jumping the gun a bit, but some of my shift at work are part of a clan for when we get to match level and need some competition:) Most of them are on CS, not CS:S tho....

Give me some time to get the game, and get good, Its about time I got into CS. Have been doing pretty well playing Halo online tho :)

Im playing on CS atm, cant seem to get CS:S to run smooth at all atm.

Yeah, CSS can take some tweaking to get it running right. My m8 was having real bad problems, I think he had to increase his virtual memory in the end to fix the problem. Good luck getting it all sorted! :)
 
ah right, cheers mate, i'll give that a go. it just seems to run, then shutdown for no reason when connected to a server.

I'll have a lewk at my VR settings.

Ah, does a stupid error box pop up and a 'dong' noise classic to Windows?!

A common occurance with CSS, but if you google it there are some fixes to try from what I remember. Have a play and see what happens, your system should run it fine...
 
Easy fix for the "dong"....disable all windows sounds! works for me! especially startup and shutdown... Would rather listen to the c***y F**g
