PES 2009 or FIFA 09?

I'm just looking at the new football games and can't decide atm :(

I've downloaded demo's of both and they both seem to have good and bad points.

I think PES has a lot better graphics, it just seems to have loads of bugs and annoyances :(

I'll be goin for Fifa, I've not played a demo yet but I'm just a fifa fanboy and all me mates told me it's good :)

Fifa seemed same-ole to me.

It`s quite alarming how much this franchise is making over the years. Merely an update of the db for pc systems would do, which u kinda-can do with consoles actually.

oo oo special moves !!!

Always preferred PES. Have both this year and Fifa is a more complete game in my opinion.

If anyone wants a PS3 copy of PES for £30 delivered let me know :)

I'm still playing both on demo :)

I started messing with the secondary analogue stick on fifa and find it really easy to do tricks etc :) seems like fifa is a lot easier than PES.

I still find myself playing PES tho as the playstyle seems more fun :) completely split between the two.

Become a legend on PES seems like a good idea, but people seem to be complaining about PES's multiplayer being laggy and also not very easy to find an opponent with a good ping as it doesn't show ping times :(

I'm really tempted to order PES atm as it's only £16 :)

Fifa isn't that much easier than PES on the hardest mode and although it doesn't have the immediacy of PES still, the whole package is much more polished and more fun....

Become a legend on PES is frankly pretty rubbish, Be a Pro on Fifa is far far superior.

Konami have again put out a bit of a half hearted attempt with their latest incarnation. It feels like it is the game PES 6 should have been, rather than the cutting edge football game it should be now. I was a HUGE PES fan but I'm pretty annoyed that Konami just can't seem bothered with the franchise any more.

Little tweaks, insert a couple of anim moves, update the database, create a movie intro and increase the version number. Some outstanding RnD there.

Now give me £30+ for each of them.

Both of them are poor excuses for a franchise over 10 years in developement. Arguably one under a different name, but even so.

The opposite end of the spectrum of game dev that would have brought u SWOS years ago.

In fairness to EA, Fifa is a lot improved over the older generations with a lot of new features so I don't agree they've been doing nothing, even though it is EA.

After playing the demos, I decided to buy PES :) as it is only £16. Also for some reason I like the PES playstyle compared to fifa.

It's just a shame they don't have all the clubs :(

I got it last night and it seems a laugh :) starting to learn the controls now aswell.

I've not tried it online yet tho.
