hehe yeah, but with a multiple choice poll, u only have 32 voters there, not 36.

And carbonated drinks make me wanna weee all the time !!!

Is your maths really that bad.

Total votes = votes for pepsi + votes for coke

39 = 19 + 20

It was 36 votes when i last did the maths correctly. That is the current votes total and the percentages shown are completely wrong because they are not using the full total. I've also tried to find a correlation between the stupid total and the other numbers without success. It seems to be just scripted wrong.

*voters* not votes - aaaargh!!!

EDIT: I feel I need to explain :p (and this is what we did in the likes of A-Level pure math w/stats *cough*)

In it`s simplest form, 1 person can cast many votes. 1 vote can be cast by 1 voter.

As an example, say 20 people voted, and they all voted for both options. Both options would be 100% (that bit will blow ur mind :p)

If everyone cast 1 vote only - indeed the both %ages would add up to 100% as total votes = number of voters.
 
but if the chart was by number of votes and not voters then it would add up to 100%

whitch is what i expected to see
 
Yes that is an odd concept and during my degree analysing genetic anomalies in several thousand base pair combinations i found my adding to be quite accurate (I can willy wave too).

Why should any percentage poll allow more than one vote as this renders the vote void and cancels the choice made. If the poll can indeed allow voting for more than one decision then why in the hell are we even doing it or caring about the results as we could simply add millions of votes to the one we like.
 
Love both, the diet versions when i want something a bit more refreshing and the regular when i need a sugar hit... pepsi just edges it though. :)

Yeah and in this poll you can still win lose or draw as is happening at the moment 20 - 20.. That could still happen if you could only vote for one or forfeit. :p
 
pepsi max is so much better than diwet coke and aalot less girlie...

plus i thin kit even tastes better than normal pepsi.

also there seems to be a hell of a lot of pepsi fans compared to satanic coke fans. Wtf?
