Pastime Project

Pro quality work. Lovely job on the cables and ESPECIALLY on the modded panels. Stellar job so far, looking forward to the (momentary) completion!

That is some very nice work there, well done! I'm looking forward to seeing more of this, especially when it's all complete.

Nice to see some comments on this little build of mine. I appreciate it, thanks.
I was going to cut the side panels and also make some more blanks for the inside but something else came in the way. I must paint a rather large wall before i can start with that but i think i get time this sunday so il post some then.

Almost done now. Tomorrow il cut the sidepanels and install smoked acrylic and it will be finnished. Hope you enjoy it fellow members of OC3D

That looks so freakin clean, great job! Did you manage to clock your RAM any higher than stock? I have the same set and they clock very well (at least up to 1866, my board doesn't support faster x-P).

Havent started to use it yet. Will do in the next days to come. The ram will most likely be set to stock because a workmate of mine is buying it. Also swoping the cpu with a 3570 so the new owner will have some more horsepower.

Thanks peeps.

Just read the entire buildlog and I just gotta hand it to you dude - this is realy something else! Minute detaling, thoughtful execution, playful colours that speaks both to the original case-design as well as your many mods.... not to mention all those amazing photos you accompanied this log with...

Pretty close to blown away by your amazing skillsets and imagination :)

You Sir - are a "modder friggin" ACE in my book! :notworthy:

Thanks fellow Norwegian :-)
The only goal for this pastime project was that it would look good, but it has a few details that could be worked more on. Overall happy with it and the new owner should be pretty satisfied with it. More to come from me when the snow is melting away. New mainsystem  and new deskbuild ^_^

Going to have to replace this acrylic in last sidepanel. It had some minor scratches from shiping and i tried to remove them with a blowtortch. Has worked well in the past but this time i heated it a bit to long.....its not so pretty now. When it is installed it isnt that noticeable but il replace it anyways just be 100% happy with it.

I'll second that for the power plug, stunning. I had to look a few times before I realised what it was. Cos here in the UK we have the correct type, with 3 pins. :yelrotflmao:
