huuuuuuuuungry for the final pictures!

no really, this beast is looking goooood
Thanks CreatiXx
I would have sex with that case, in the hope that I could somehow impregnate it and have it give birth to an awesome mini-ITX case! Amazing build, and that is an understatement!
Haha well we wish it would pop out mini-ITX babies every week or so... would help our production along nicely haha. Thanks also!
Love! I want one so bad, guess I have to buy a lotto ticket!
Truly and amazing piece of custom work. I am sure I would have marked the acrylic somewhere during the build. Your work is hugely impressive and inspiring
Thank you so very much for sharing
--Rick--
Proably be able to do another one for you for about £14K... it's not lotto money but its a LOT haha.
I guess we've learnt how to deal with the type of material really well. Shaun broke one screw hole in a certain panel but otherwise no damage!
Your welcome Rick, hope your back for the final photos, video and benchies!
This is nerdporn at it's finnest!!
Wow it's amazing!
Questions: When can I get one? Will you be able to do them with the motherboard the other way round?
I assume you mean the case itself? Honestly at this stage I'm not sure. We are already 3 months later than we wanted to be on the ITX. Once that is selling we will move onto the larger case! We will for sure to regular and reverse layout.
Wow lads, you wanna be proud of this it just gets better everytime the thread pops up!
Hope you have better luck with the mayhems that I have

(in terms of colour)
Thanks SuB and thanks for sticking around throughout the project. It's been a solid 6 months on this one!
Ah yeah I've heard of the black to brown issues. If it turns brown I'll just bin the rig, I'm not draining it xD
How do you get that awesome flat finish on the black acrylic? The cuts all clean up so beautifully too, having milled some acrylic myself recently I am amazed with the quality you achieve.
Seeing as you asked for feedback I will try my best to find a little crit.... oh damn this is hard... I don't like the front USB ports, well executed just not needed. Maybe do something with the SLI bridge?
I would be impressed if you could mill a tiny parvum logo into like a 40mm wide strip of acrylic. Maybe if you got a piece of chunky flat black, hollowed it out so from the sides it looked like a thick black piece but flush on the front. Then cut a piece of white/clear that fits back inside it to make it solid again. Fit/glue that in and then mill the 'parvum' hex logo through the front with the tiniest cutter just deep enough to cut through into the white/clear piece inside. Backlight with LED's for added epeen, although do you really need more!
PS. if you pull that off and it works send me one!

It's a double matte finish, you can actually buy acrylic like this but it's not cheap at all. For the good stuff you usually have to import from Italy or Germany but of course they have re-seller/disti in the UK. Well worth it but a LOT harder to cut than gloss acrylic. As for our cuts it's just practice and knowledge of routing, we've come a long way for sure. It's also down to time, we have to cut a lot slower than we would in an ideal world to keep quality up. We've looked into laser in the past but it just isn't viable to keep our counter sunk screws and the V bit detailing that we use. Along with custom things like acrylic inlay, they just are not possible with laser.
Thanks for the feedback. Wish we got more. The USB was something that was a must, believe it or not this will be my personal home system when not at trade shows and events. The slot loading blu-ray and the USB are things for home efficiency and practicality. Agree that it makes one side look a little heavy but no biggy!
SLI bridge is a tricky one. We actually made something similar, 3mm frosted layer with 5mm black on top. V bit 45 edges on the black with a tiny Parvum logo in the center. It's super hard to get another LED to that spot now but I hoped the LEDs in the XSPC blocks with disperse though the bridge. It does but not as much as I'd like. I'm also unsure on it yet so imagine I'll post photos.
Have another idea in mind if no joy!
