Partners computer

Hey guys,
got the missus nagging me to get a computer set up for her.
she basically needed it for uni work, films and playng the Sims.
basically, i have no idea how demanding Sims is as ive never played it.
need some advice on a GPU, i was looking at a 7850 but is this going to be "too" powerful?
the rest of the specs are,
2500k @ 4.4ghz
AsRock Z68 extreme 4 gen 3
500w Corsair GS psu
8gb 1866mhz Corsair Vengence
60gb Vertex 3 (OS)
220gb Mechanical (Storage)
BitFenix Merc case

Basically the parts above are what i have lying around, at that is needed is a GPU, any advice is welcome

Don't play Sims myself either but I'm willing to bet even a 7770 would be a little ott after looking at the min requirements they dont even mention windos 7 nevermind 8 :lol: but hey if you think the system will ever get heavier gaming thrown at it (or if you just want to) why not go for the 7850

yeah, see she used to play a lot of CS:S and WoW, she keeps playing my assassins creed games so i reakon ill go for a 7850, shes not a graphics junky like i am
