Gonna put water cooling in my pc and this is the loop I was thinking, any advice? It'll be a DDC2 possibly with XSPC res top. Red block is the pump, purple are water blocks and yellow are rads :)

Thanks all :D

Looks pretty good. Personally i wouldn't bother with a northbridge block but its up to you.

One thing I spy, no rez? You planning on using a t-line?

I have a Noctua NC-U6 on the northbridge right now, would that be enough if I wanna overclock it a fair bit? Can't really decided with the res, if I do get a XSPC res top it'll sort it out but I'm not sure if it'll fit in the space... guess I could always add a t-line fill port at the top or a bay res. So many choices!!!

Ok so here's my actualy pc in the photo now! was using some one elses I got off google. So I'm gonna stick with the noctua nb cooler as the gigabyte p35c-ds3r runs cooler then most. So the loop goes pump->120rad->gfx->240rad->cpu->pump does this sound ok? pump will be ddc ultra with res top, 8800gtx and a q6600 with the rads been Black Ice GT Stealths all pulling in air from outside the case.

Is it going to be an issue not having the cpu first in the loop or would this be ok?

Thanks all :D

Interesting do post some pics mate.I have the same case.I think you will need 2 x 120mm rad.One on the rear and one on the front to effectively cool the gfx card and the cpu.

Gud luck with that.

edit

Didnt see the yellow bit on top .Are u gonna cut the case then.

Sorry forgot to mention the yellow blocks are the rads :) 120 on the front 240 on the top. I'm gonna have to remove the floppy bay for the 120 to fit and i'll cut the top and put a grill over it. Hopefully will have build log soon once I get the kit and the ok from everyone here as far as the loop is concerned :D Oh yeah forgot the blocks!!! getting an apogee gtz and EK-FC8800 8800GTX

I would have the fans pushing air out of the top, not bringing it in (cooler air at the bottom). Thats what I have, 120mm intake at the front and side, 120mm outtake at the back and 2 140mm outtakes at the top.

If that makes sense lol.

What about thinking outside the box...

:P

I like how you mounted a triple rad on the back of the case!!! Did you use a mounting kit to put it there or hardware store L brackets?

haha, yeah it's not very stealthy and f-ing massive now too! But they are personally made brackets, started off as long strips of aluminium and i cut and bent them myself, hard work but im happy, and it's not like you can just buy a fitting kit for what i wanted

I got ya I wont be going as far as you did with two loops. I rather wanted to mount a triple rad on the back of my case, but I should be able to figure it out
